X68000 Emulation

Just discovered this system, some pretty neat games out on it.

Anyone know what is the best Emulator for it & whether its setup in GameEx?

You could try Mess. I don't know how well it emulates the x68000, but it would be a breeze to set up.

I sussed it but I do have a problem tho

How do I remove the Disk info on the left hand side of the screen DF0, DF1 etc?

Most games reqire a Data disk in DF0 & the Game in DF1. How do I indert 2 disks?

I downloaded winx68khighspeed for the emulator and had a great how to but can't seem to find the link. sorry but here is my quick tips.

Make sure you have the BIOS as well

Once you have those launch the winx68 .exe and along the top menu there is FDD0 and FDD1.

Disk 1 = FDD0

Disk 2 = FDD1

I tested three or four games on my PC fine. Haven't moved it to GameEx yet though.

I do have a 3 disk game as well and you actually load Disk 1 in FDD0 and Disk 3 in FDD1.
