Hi there!

I made my own theme for gameex, but there're only the parts I needed. I mean, there's no daphne theme and others...

I tuned it for my own needs, and I use a custom menu too.

It has screens for default/startup, mame, nes, snes, n64, sms, genesis, psx, vpinball and future pinball.

If I want to share it, what folders should I include? or just the theme folder?

This is how it looks. Any suggestion is welcome though :D

The scanlines on the preview video are part of the theme :D

(my arcade cab ;D )

Very nice, man. Very clean and simple. Nice work!

The scan lines are killer! :)

Theme uploads require the .zip format so zip your theme folder. Be sure to include any fonts you may have added outside of standard. You may also wish to include any Photoshop .psd files as a template so that the users can create their own custom backgrounds from your template.

Upload your zipped theme here following the instructions.

P.S. Good looking theme! Will make a nice addition!

I took that picture from a video I use as startup video, the games that time forgot :D I'll pack and upload it later today :D

Should I translate on screen labels (the volume/paging labels on the background) or just delete them?

Hi there back :D Your banner logos look awesome KRC :D

I'm uploading it right now. It'll take some time. It's a bit over 200mb. It includes startup video and default video for each system, the psd I used for everything and some arcade fonts.

(and I have an incredible upload speed of about 15KB so...)

The system banners Visual Pinball,Future Pinball, Super Nintendo etc..

Yes, those ones are yours :D I just forgot, I downloaded a bunch of files I could use and forgot about where I got most of them :D

They look awesome :D

I left the computer unattended while it uploaded the theme, and now I came to see this

Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
and even more, if I try to upload it again, I get a message telling me that there's a theme with that same name, but it doesn't show on the themes' list.

As it's a V2 theme I added "V2" to the name and I'm trying to upload it again.

Are you sending to the forum Downloads section or to the Themes upload section on the GameEx.com site? Preferred location will be the GameEx.com site due to no upload size limitations, etc.

Hi there!

I'm trying to upload it to the theme upload section, but no luck. I just got the same error.

I'm uploading it to my google drive account now
