Using X-Arcade Joystick

Has anyone been able to use the X-Arcade joystick with GameEx? If so, how have you configured it to work? thanks!

go to gameex configuration, advanced mame settings, then under mame options

add this "-ctrlr XArcade" without the " that should get it going

IF anyone can help me with this PLEASE.....

I tried adding -ctrl XARcade to /gamex configuration, advanced mame settings, then under mame options.. and it still does not work. I cant get xarcade to work with gameex. If I used xarcade with mame32 only it works perfectly.

I dont think the -ctrlrxarcade command works when using mame32 just standard mame.

If you are using mame32 open it up. Go to options, then Default game options.

Click on the controller tab then where it says Default input layout select xarcade. Apply this and then quit mame32.

You should now be able to use your X-Arcade in GameEx.
