-Only made a new post because it's been more than 2 weeks since my last, i apologise if it's the wrong thing to do.

Wow, this game is tough! I bought the remake on XBLA and thought that was harsh but my memories were obviously warped - this is brutal! Now i remember why i was so reluctant to put my coins in this one :o

Not much improvement i'm afraid - just beat rtkiii, just! lol

Score: 1,168,920

Initials: DAZ

Damn I was hoping I did not have to play this for sometime...my forearms and fingers are getting sore just thinking about trying to beat that score! Nice one!

That score is like 4x that of mine. I really should make the effort to try and revisit all these games again. Uhg I hate not having free time. I will someday, but there's just so much crap to do on your day off you can't go do the things you WANT to do. :)

Don't forget to post your stats too when submitting. ;)

There ought to be a way to have the stats for each user so we don't have to type them everytime, like a thread one can go to and see what version of mame, initials one uses for the comp entries (maybe even type one for games specifically being submitted to the comp), etc. It would be much easier to centralize that and just post screen shots in the games thread.

Might also ensure I don't get tempted to upload an old score if we got to pick one main set of initials, idk. Just a thought. :-)

2) Submit your hi-score

Reply to the Hi-Score competition-topic of your game and add the following info:

> Your score

> Settings used of post #1 (please add this comment as a confirmation you have used the correct settings)

> Version of Mame used (Example: Mame 147 compiled)

> Screenshot of your hi-score

@ Adultery: a great idea ! I will create this thread in the next few days !!! I really like it if members contribute to our comp with these great ideas. Thanks buddy :)

I think you will really do well in the shmup contest :)

Thanks for the support! But i doubt it - have you seen the guys @ the other sites?! - they take their stuff very seriously so i doubt they'll let a casual GE user ruin their day :o but i intend to do just that nonetheless :D props to you too my man - let's put up a good fight! ;)

When it comes to shmups, I'll admit I'm more of a fan (and better at) the classics, before bullet hell games ruled the scene. Even though this was developed by Raizing, I think they nailed the more laid-back yet exciting style of the 194X series here. They added their own more advanced touches to this one.

ExedExes - 1,734,250 - Settings were confirmed as correctly used on MAMEUI32 0.141

No chance! I'm a casual retro gamer ^_^ I love em - they bring back fond memories. But that is far as it goes for me :) I'm certainly never gonna beat anyone from shmups.org - clue's in the title :D
