Hi all!!

It's possible to install Gameex on an external hard disk without windows depencencies?

I've have a registered version of Gameex and want to install it on an external Hard Drive to use my emulators on 2 computers.

It's possible to make that?

Thanks!!!

Since it requires an update to the registry of the OS on each PC I would not recommend it. What I would recommend is installing it on each PC separately. Since this will be for your own personal use, you may use your install key for each installation. As for your emulators, likely you will need to install them locally (on each PC) as well, but you will need to check the documentation or forums for each to know for sure. You can store your images and roms on the external drive, however, you will need to be mindful of your path settings as the drive letter assignments may change or be different on each machine, depending on what other drives may load before or if you have a usb thumb drive or SD card reader or the like.

Assuming GameEx is installed on each PC you should be able to run the actual installation from an external drive. Although if drive letters are different you will have some issues in regards to setup of emus etc if they are on the drive. Its not designed to be mobile regardless.
