Assistance with Demul setup

Hi guys I need help you said you got demul to run naomi game? the only way I can get demul to run naomi games is buy choosing load decrypted rom. the files a have are .dat files do I have the wrong files? Atomiswave run well. any ideas or commandlines to bypass the game list?

I would run the files through a rom manager like clrmame pro against the latest dat to confirm your roms. I'm not aware of the roms having a dat extension. I could be wrong.

As far as command-line:

Demul (Sega * Emulator) v0.5.6

-? -h -help give this help

-version give about

-listxml list roms & bioses in ClrMame XML format

-listroms print games list

-run=<name> run specified system (dc, naomi, atomisware, hikaru)

-rom=<romname> run specified system rom

-customrom=<fullpath> run specified system customrom

Sorry Im a noob I have Demul v0.5.7 and what is a rom manager? demul outside of game ex will not run the rom till I tell it to load decrypted rom and pick the .dat file for the game and it playes the game. do you have a naomi emulator if so what do you use?

A rom manager checks the file's crc to make sure you have the correct files. It checks against the dats. It's purpose is for rom management. It seems your roms are decrypted and mine or not but i would just try with the known commandline for naomi to test and see how things go. I don't run any emulators but demul is the one that is recommended by my known sources.

Try the following:

demul.exe -run=naomi -rom="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

This is untested for your type of roms since I don't have them that way. But we'll still figure out. Please report back.
