I am new to GameEx, just installed it today. I am running an Arcade VGA card on a 15khz monitor. I am attempting to find what I need to do to make it able to run in vertical mode, at least enough to launch games. So far I've found that changing the setting to Rotate Display to 90 degrees had no effect. I'm running the Default Arcade VGA lo-res theme right now. Works great, just sideways. Any direction would be appreciated here.

Welcome to the GameEx forums! I am assuming you are referring to MAME as the emulator of choice for this project? Please read the following thread and provide us with answers to the questions noted.It is important that you let us know what emulator(s) are in question and if you have achieved the functionality via the emulator prior to troubleshooting GameEx.

Try the low res simple theme. I cant remember if its included with GameEx or you need to download it. Only version 4 themes can run low resolution rotated. You might need to tweek that theme slightly.
