I have just bought a brand new computer and loaded MAME32 and GameEx onto it. When I try to start GameEx, it returns the message:

GameEx has stopped working

Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...

There is a green bar that crosses in the pop up and then nothing happens and the pop up disappears.

Can someone please help?

A little more info regarding your system might be helpful. Can you locate the gameex.ini and log.txt files and upload them here?

Is it the latest mame version ? and latest version of GameEx ? R u trying to run mame32 on 64 bit o/s ? does mame run outside of GameEx, does this happen every time you run it ? Try running in compatability mode, like xp sp2 for example.

As Drago said a little more info would help please.
