I have icons associated with my MAME games, but is there any way to associate an icon with a console emulator? I'm not interested so much in giving games individual icons, but I would like to have an icon representing the system associated with each game for that system.

GameEx doesn't allow for this ATM, sorry. :(

I don't think this makes a lot of difference for the emulator menus. The one time where the lack of icons makes a big aesthetics difference is in the "All Games" menu. The MAME games all have icons, but the others have a gaping hole. It would be nice to have a consistent list, but creating icons would be an issue for each game. Perhaps Tom could implement a way to have an icon for the emulator itself? That way it would have something there and you could choose what that would look like (a cartridge, the console itself, etc).

Yeah, I was looking for it in Favorites. I have multiple platform versions of some games listed and an icon would be helpful to distinguish them at a glance.

Don't forget search where you can have multiple platform versions. :) When viewing details of a game, other systems names are listed when a matching game is found. An icon would be a nice addition there too.

This is the exact question I was going to post, because I've spent all day getting GameEx set up for the first time and this is pretty much the only niggle I have with it!

One icon per system would be perfect for me, to distinguish from all the different versions of the same game, although the option to add custom icons per game would be cool too.

I suppose I could just add (NES) or (GB) or whatever to the end of each game name but that's a bit messy.
