Hi,

First I would like to say that I simply adore the software and would love to use my cabinet to its fullest potential.

Only using GameEx for two days now so I am not officialy registrated yet but next payday I will ;).

Anyhows, because I spilled a drink over my brand new Logitech G19 keyboard a year ago and it was catching dust in the drawer

I decided to take out the LCD panel and build it into my cabinet, well that all worked out fine, it IS still working and

it looks damn nice, only issue is... its showing the Logitech Logo cause it does not receive any information from WMP itself

through the library.

Silently I was hoping that the Jukebox would use WMP in the background and through that would be able to feed the LCD screen

with song info. Sadly it seems that WMP and GameEx do not communicate as I hoped for.

The settings in GameEx in Audio are set to WMP Library and not the tagged option or Icrap eerw tunes.

Is there ANY way to let WMP or Jukebox inform the Logitech software which track from the WMP Library is playing through Jukebox?

Keep up the great work.

Thanks in advance for reading and even more for sharing a solution.

Welcome to the forums!

This is not possible as the LCD (GamePanel) would need to be recognized as a Monitor in order to use, say, GameExtender (Registered feature) and even that only displays still images from the emus and not WMP playlist items.

Thanks for the welcome :).

Well the logitech software does recognize Media Player by itself automaticly and because Gameex uses Media Players Library I hoped that it was linked one way or another... its not a seperate LCD its basicly an USB LCD build into a keyboard which shows different kinds of info in games and is able to run movies and info from other music players. except that its missing the keyboard part now and has been tweaked into a USB hub and external mini monitor build into an obsolete coin slot ;).

Does sound li ean interesting re-use of that LCD. When you look at monitor settings, does it show as a monitor? What about under device settings? I had posed a question quite a few months ago regarding some of the USB powered 7" and 10" monitors and the consensus was that GameEx should recognize it so long as it shows as a monitor.

Well, GameEx does actually support LCDs Draco and I believe the currently playing track is available. Sounds like just need to setup LCD usage in GameEx.

Even one hacked from a gaming keyboard? Would be sweet to enable such a capability then! To be able to connect a simple usb powered LCD with no bells and whistles and price to go with would be awesome!
