I found this thread and even though you have the latest drivers, I wonder if, for GameEx further calibration is needed. They reference a software called Caltouch. Not sure if this will be of help but worth a shot.

Well. i tried what was suggested in that thread even though 3 years old. didnt help. but thanks!

i calibrated the screen using windows 7 built in tablet calibration and tested again no go.

Its so wierd. Album player and popcap games and all built in windows programs register my doubletab just fine. Was everyone able to see my video and see how i have to rub left and right to get the double click to register?! if not ill post the video on a video site.

wierdest thing ever. im determined to make this work. this will be the frontend for me. but i cant ask guests to rub to doubleclick can i? isnt the nature of a touchscreen to be so easy your parents could even use it?! haha

thanks for the suggestions. ill try anything. even a debug copy of test software. i dont care.

So you have the touchscreen set so that one press does a double click? Its really difficult for me to test this but it works ok with the mouse here. How does it work when you turn off touchscreen support?

one tap does a click two taps a doubleclick. only application that doesnt work is gameex. in gameex its one tap does a click and select the item and a a "rub" does the second click.

ill do another video.

I was waiting for your video. ;)

I had a thought. On my touchpad config for my driver there's a setting for precision. can you try fiddling with that and see if that works for you? Enhanced pointer precision I think it is. It would be under your mouse properties.

Ive got an HP Touchsmart on the way to me. Fantastic deal for a touchscreen with built in PC. Never used to be this sort of price. Anyway Ill be able to test touchscreen support better and there will no doubt be some better support and features in GameEx.

Really? That's great news, thanks!

Yeah, it was either that or a bartop but I already have a cab so went for a touchscreen. I cannot build stuff myself and have no interest in doing so.

I am quite interested in the technology and would like to complete Ultratouch. I think ill be able to do some cool stuff and there are not a whole bunch of commercial quality touch screen front ends.
