Ok It Was first On Standard Gameex Screensaver. the videos were'nt showing. Then i Changed It To Time Weather and slide show. games still were'nt loading. then i changed it back to standard gameex screensaver, ran it again and all the videos started playing this time!! seemed like i had to change it to another option and run it first before it would save and change to another option. I hope it Doesn't go out again. thank you sir. GameEx.ini

It worked the first Load and now its back showing the weather screen. the music, movies and tv shows play fine when i go into those categories now. The Only problem im having now is the videos wont play in the screensaver. they go to that weather screen. but my movie, and tv shows play just fine when i select them. its just the screensaver switches to weather instead of random videos.

i keep getting the weather screen. but im trying to get the mode that just plays random demo videos when screensaver is started. using current version. lav filters installed. what step am i missing here? the directory is correct. they are all mp4s. they have all played before. has something changed? my movies and tv shows play fine when i start them. i just want the demo video screensaver. @Draco1962my pc crashed but i had a full backup of it. it worked perfectly before. i have mp4 and a few mkv and they have always played but when i formatted the pc i started getting problems. i just updated to the newest version of GEX and i tried i again and im still getting it. please help sir. log.txt GameEx.ini

Is there any way i can add my own metadata and media to my collection? if so, where would i insert it and how do i rename the media so it can show up on gameex? i have a 600 song playlist but it only uses one album cover the entire time. i want to add my own since it wont show up. and i want to add my own small movie clip to the ones that wont show the preview. please help

yessir i do. if i press any button except s and d (Select and back) when in attract mode it goes back to the main menu. i wanted to make it where i couldnt do anything unless i either pressed escape or the select or back button. and maybe change the songs

where in the setup wizard can i disable arcade buttons while in attract mode but still push the buttons to change the song? i used to be able to do that..

and ive also installed it without changing any settings and just starting it up as it is with no configuration and it did the same thing without the music

Hey guys. hope all is well. i installed a fresh copy of gameex on my windows 10 pc installed the lav codecs, and all i want to do is play music and videos on my frontend. but i get a black screen and im unable to press any buttons and all i get is a black screen. after 2 minutes it goes to screensaver like it set to do but when i escape out of the screensaver its still black. please help. i cannot see the screen at all. bandicam 2022-11-09 16-33-14-887.mp4 log.txt

is there a certain location where the metadata file for the album art is (not the actual music but the art) im using an earlier version of gameex. I ran the brand new version and downloaded the metadata and it worked. i manually copied the album art over to the older gameex but it still isnt showing, making me think its a metadata album art file that goes with it. the reason why im using and older version of gamees is bc the new gameex freezes and crashes when browsing through the lists randomly. i have to log off to get back to it. screensaver also shows an black screen but the jukebox works well. so i went that route
