  1. avi's with out the blood sweat and tears.
  2. Well my avitar says that I am....tho I highly doubt it. I may give this a try later on today. Thanks for the effort tho. *Update* Yup I was right...I'm not a guru...scored 80%

    DVDs on disk

I haven't toyed with this feature as of yet...and really not likely to...however should you not be able to come up with a working solution, may I recommend posting to the "Features Request" thread your idea...never know, maybe it'll be added later on.
  4. Heh sweet got lucky on that one. You're welcome
  5. Well you might have to search and find out how to back up the required files...I don't know off hand what needs to be done there. How ever just a shot in the dark...you did make sure to install the .NET RunTimes...correct? Also you didn't use some thing like XPize or nLite on your OS...some times these can cause issues.
  6. you're welcome.
  7. You on Win2K\XP\2K3\Vista? If so... Goto Start Button\Control Panel\Administrative Tools\Computer Management\Disk Management Then right click the partition you wish to change letters on...keep in mind a letter can not be in use when changes...so you may have to do a fair amount of going round and round depending how many drives you have setup.

    dvd play ??

puppetj I think the general forum is *done* with you. bye bye
  9. "you people" eh....well I think in general you will from here on out be getting a cold shoulder. Any ways pound dirt.
  10. Yeah and I've seen some of your other posts...one where after a few people put in a lot of effort you got bent out of shape because some one wasn't right there to help you so you deleted the whole set. You want things done in 1-3 days...and exactly who doesn't? Wanting to get stuff done in short order isn't a problem...its when its demanded that it becomes a problem...and most certainly when the help you recieve is FREE. You want pro help and service...fine...send me cash for $50 an hour USA, four hour base fee...and at that point we'll do biz...and frankly thats a bargin for IT. Short of that kiss my ass after your bullshit. So in short because of your drama...it'll run you $200 for some thing you could have other wise had FREE.
  11. sub-titles? or sub-folders?
  12. Well if you change the command from "FileMove" to "FileCopy" and exicute it...it'll do what you want.
  13. Oh no...you didn't just go there. Okay for one...I just seen the fucking post. Your kicking up a fuss made no difference to me WHAT so ever, but it does NOW. Myself and everyone else here is NOT here to hold your hand. We are NOT paid to help. Getting XYZ emu to work with GameEx is NOT some thing Tom or anyone else is suppose to supply support to paid or non paid users. Really if you left that first guilt tripping drama queen stuff out of your post...I would have been more than willing to lend a hand. You burned a bridge there.
  14. Okay this should do the job... Now its my prior understanding that things are like so: Sega\ Sega\Game 1\ Sega\Game 2\ Sega\Game ...\ If this is correct then the script I have written should work fine. Simply place To_Root.exe in Sega (so to say): Sega\To_Root.exe Any ways have fun...the *.au3 file is the actual source code should you need to change things...it is dependant on AutoIt 3.2.2.0 should you choose to recompile it. Man got stood up for a movie. hehe PS...I didn't delete the folders once they are empty...since...for one they may not be...this would happen should two or more files maintain the same file name...as I did not set it to over write files...this will give you some ablity in which to back out of things or correct things...should things not be totally seemless.
  15. Give me a sec and I can probably write you an autoit script that should do the trick.
  16. heh true...but never know...maybe he won't burn to many bridges and will one day be helpful around the forum. But yeah he's a little over the top, when asking for *FREE* help
  17. Have you tried to enable Map Keys option in the control panel for gameex?
  18. First of all what is your issue...not speaking about the emu here. Not every one that views this thread use's that emu...or if they do, may have never ran into that problem. Now if you can leave the bs at the door, are you using my ini or some one else's? *Update* Okay I see the only Sega.zip is mine. Please make sure that the command line to mount the disc image is correct...some times GameEx strips to many double quotes. CD\DVD CLI info How ever you should be able to run the EMU out side of GameEx first off prior to even needing to worry about getting it to work with in GameEX.
  19. kenclops - Well then in all likely hood you'll have to burn the game to CD and place it in your physical drive...since Crankast at present does not support reading of disc images.
  20. I think with good sets you just set the fliter to *[!]* and every thing should turn out roses...don't quote me tho...not on my gameex system.
  21. Well this would be a feature request as its not some thing that can be done in a theme. You can setup filtering to hide every thing but the versions you are wanting...then of course you could setup a dup emu setup that allows hacked versions to be shown...maybe more sloppy than what you are suggesting...but very possible with the current features.
  22. Not that I'm aware of...is there a reason you don't want to install a virtual drive?
  23. As a media frontend I'm sure it would run fine. As a Emu frontend more than likely not for any of the emu's that required fairly beefy spec systems. So for media I'm sure it would be fantasic, but emulation...I have strong doubts. Cool setup tho. *Update* Scratch that...from what little research I've done on the processos that board use's....run from it like the plauge. By NO MEANS should this be purchused! Get some thing else...any thing would be better...CPU wise. I don't care how good of a deal you can get on it...its thieft. If you already own it then give it a try...but if you don't own it...then don't own it in the future. Really if you can find some thing you like that runs the newer Intel CPU's or the past few AMD CPU's I would suggest going that way...but really leaning towards the new Intel chips...even tho I do own AMD...which I'm happy with...but Intel is top dog right now.
