No updates of any kind except this version of gameex.

What the heck is this and why is it doing this AFTER my upgrade?? Windows loads fine....no issues...I load gameex now and thus happens 90% of the time.

You can only get 2 set of controllers using xinput. Wouldn't work on my current configuration

Based on what I saw in the thread, yes I expected to see it. Does it work now ? No. Left and right motions of the joystick still produce movement inside the gameex front end.

Ok I followed the thread read it and installed 18.64. The cabfriendly option is list we d in the gameex.ini but when you type true it still doesn't show in the gameex setup.

In GameEx I control the game selection scroll wheel by moving a joystick up and down. This will control the scroll wheel up or down alphabetically to allow me to move a game to the center for selection. Can the left and right movement of that stick be disabled?

I looked through setup in the mame settings and everything looks in order. The only thing that has changed was my addition of autohotkeys and a script for adding volume control to a set of buttons on a coin door. Other than that it's been running fine for weeks.

I have gameex running. Its been working for a few weeks now. No issues. Today I run Gameex and it wants an update on my game list. I update it. I restart the PC and it wants another update. Now every time I start it it wants to update my game list. Any ideas? GameEx.ini log.txt

Got it. I had to go into task manager and start a new task, file manager.

Didn't work. I can get into task manager but there is no process that I can see relates to gameex or instantsheller

Hopefully this will complete my question session. Apparently on Windows10 backing out of IS isn't the same as it was in previous versions of windows. I did a cntl,alt,delete to get to the task manager but when I select it I get nothing but a black screen. No Atl-N like in past. Anyone know of an easy way to get back into windows on Window10?? You both have been superb in answering questions and helping. I haven't been in GameEx or IS in almost 20 years and it's taking me some time to get back in the swing of things. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I really appreciate you and GameEx!!! Still works great after all these years.

Yeah I think that's what would work best. I did remove it all. Consider this resolved.

If I can remove the second menu screen this won't be needed.

Is there a way to get rid of the intermediate menu? I would like to be able to go from the main page showing all the games labeled in Mame directly into the game when selected. The menu I do not want is pictured. I noticed my grandchildren don't understand this menu and I think it's superfluous. If it can't be remov2lwd then I would suggest an software change( mod) to be able to bypass this menu screen altogether and simplify Gameex. Thanks

where is this loading screen located?? Im looking to add info on it...

Ok I removed the control.ini path to stop the control panel image from showing up right before game play however, it's now missing from the menu list right before game play. Is there a way to still have controls available to view on the game menu( it has play this game, marquee,flyer,cabinet etc ..) and not just show up before game play begins?? I would like it to still be listed in this menu (see pic)
