  1. I too have to say how awesome gameex and its forum is!I dont think I ever waited more then a few minutes when I asked a question.and I also have tried the other FE available, and they dont hold a candle to gameex. After dloading gameex, and setting up a few emu's,it only took about 20 mintutes for me to donate to get the full version.I have told all my gaming friends and they all agree that gameex is the best FE available.its so great to not have 35 emulator icons on my desktop and toolbar anymore!
  2. well i use M.E.S.S. for vectrex,(im actually a huge vectrex fan)you can get the overlays from EMUMOVIES so why dont you go and get everything you need, then come back here if you still need help

    gameex and sega cd?

AHA!!!!!SUCCESS!!! if i can make a suggestion, and maybe this is known by older users, but im sure that there will be some newer users that will make the same mistake as me.and my mistake was copying and pasting command lines like this one "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -mount 0,"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" for some reason when copying and pasting it adds spaces after "Files" and also after the comma.just dont want anyone else to go through the frustration I have today

    gameex and sega cd?

ok i got alot of useful info from there,im still a little lost regarding the command line quoted from hansolo77"setup your command line to point to your emulator, having it read an image on D: (or drive of choice)"......this is my command line"pce.exe "syscard3.pce "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"...what is my command line supposed to be?

    gameex and sega cd?

well magic engine will not run the games unless they are mounted,as per their WEBSITE ME does not read .iso,it only reads true cd's.now I have only a few roms to test, and they come in .rar format, after unzipping your are left with a .iso and a .cue file, which if I mount the .cue with daemon tools, then lauch ME,I can then click on boot cd and it will have the games name and I can click on it and play but in gameex it just loads ME,but doesnt run the game

    gameex and sega cd?

    once again you have solved my problem!but im wondering why does gameex enter the wrong command?when I set up a emulator I NEVER touch the command line entry line,as I thought gameex did that for you,as it does with most cart-based emu's.... so am I right to assume that a similar command line will do the same for turboduo?as Im having the same issue with that emu STARTPAGENAME=[Console] NEC TurboGrafx CD (MagicEngine) TITLETEXT=NEC TurboGrafx CD StartPageLogo=NEC TurboGrafx-16 ROMFilter=*.iso RomPath=I:\Emulation\Roms\turbografx 16 cd roms RomsInFolders= SnapPath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Snaps TitlePath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Titles BoxPath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Boxes CartPath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Cartridges ManualPath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Manuals ControlPanelPath=C:\Assets\NEC TurboGrafx CD\Controls InstructionsPath= TVAdPath= MusicPath= WorkingPath=D:\Magic-Engine_1.1.3 MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=False RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=True Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=pce.exe "syscard3.pce"[-VIRTUALDRIVE-] LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= configFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic=False DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic=False SelectionMusicFolder= PCGame=False DATABASE=[Console] NEC TurboGrafx CD UseDbName= GamesIn7Zips=False MergeSets= PlayInScreenSaver=False ShowMostPlayed=True RandomMostPlayed=True CDCheck=False CDCheckFile= CustomArtName1= CustomArtPath1= CustomArtName2= CustomArtPath2= CustomArtName3= CustomArtPath3= System=NEC TurboGrafx CD Category=Console Emulator=MagicEngine Version=1.1.3 Rating= DownloadUrl=http://www.gamesdbase.com/setupwizard/emulators/download/magicengine.7z RequiredFiles=

    rom question

ok,great.then maybe you can tell me why I cannot rebuild roms into 7z,there is no issue rebuilding into .zip or .rar, but when i select 7z i get this message "do you want to stop? error while adding c:program files clrmamepro\temp\(rom name)to c:users\gen(rom name)7z do you want to stop the rebuliding process i get that when trying to make 1g1r romsets, but only if i rebuild to 7z,zip and rar work w\o issues

    rom question

yea im wondering that also,im going to try with my no-intro full genesis set,so in the rom filter line i just put *USA*.zip?
  20. mesk

    rom question

they are no-intro,but its cool because I just made a set w\o japanese games, cause to be perfectly honest,I have no need what so ever for japanese games as I do not read or write japanese! as always,I am appreciative of your help frequency BTW,what games are you into?once Im all set up again ill always be ready for some 2 player online action

    rom question

yea, this doesnt seem to work.my nes games are in 7z format,so in the rom filter line i put *USA*.7z,but it still shows all games what I think I must do is to actually make a romset w\o japanese games in it
