  1. I must be blind.. I can't seem to find it. A little push in the right direction please. Thx.
  2. When I choose a emulator to play(doesn't matter which one). Click on a game title. Exit back to gamex. The game title will be added to game list twice. Is this a bug or and option I need to tick? Each game is added to the top of the emu list.

    No games.

http://mame32qa.classicgaming.gamespy.com/ Go here or mame.net 1st link seems like your ticket. Once you can run games via. one of these 2. Then let gameex work its magic.

    Winkawaks

Open up the configuration utility for gameex. Go to where you have winkawaks setup under emulators. In the "command line:" prompt use this string "winkawaks" [rom] -fullscreen. Make sure you have the quotes around winkawaks. That was they key. The rest of the setup is just the same as any other emulator. Point to your rom paths, snap, titles etc. Now "Map Keys:" Yes. Allows me to enter back into gameex sometimes. Its iffy. If someone could create a batch file that would kill a service when esc. was used. This may solve this problem. Thx for all the help btw.

Thanks for the work. I can get gameex to load roms fine from winkawaks. The problem is exiting back to gameex doesnt always work. Sometimes it returns to gameex and sometimes not. Winkawaks does have command line usage. I no longer have to use a shortcut to launch games. I figured out how to run it thru the .exe file. You shouldn't need a wrapper. When it does return to gameex winkawaks is still running in the background. If I could just kill the winkawaks service when enterning back into gameex. I did notice in the gameex config under emulators. There is an option to "Launch After" command. I thought I could just use the windows killtask for winkawaks here. But it doesnt work. I figure it works when it sees the emulator has closed. Or I'm doing something wrong.
  8. I think turning on show desktop in your gameex emulator config will make things work.
  9. Tom seems as if this bug is back. I can no longer minimize gameex. Will only rotate display.

Ok i'm one step further to making this work. This may only apply to I-Pac users, but what exactly happens with player 1 and player 2 start buttons are held? I understand it exits the emulator and returns back to gamex. But what keys is it sending? Can send keys be applied to the return of gamex instead of when starting an emualtor?

    No games.

Before using gameex. Make sure your mame emulator or what have you is set up correctly.

Snap shots of your config will be a big help.
  17. Seeing as this was my 1st computer. I thought I would add this to my emu collection. Anyone have this emu running(classic99)? I'm lost. Should I be using another emu for this? Thx.
  18. Call Ghostbusters! .....or Tom.
  19. I might be mistaken. I thought you could turn it off in the gameex config.
  20. I'm still not able to create snaps for my Zsnes games. I know others have had issues with snaps. Please post if this update worked for you. P.S. BTW the feature does work, just not with my Zsnes games.
  21. Thats exactly what I mean. I will give this a try. What format you use? jpeg?

    Create Snaps

No not really. I have edited my rom names. So they don't match. No special configuration needed. You can set how long to display the game before the snapshot is taken. 10,20,30 sec etc. It saves the snap to the directory you set up in gameex config. For that emulator.
  23. Well I fixed it. I needed the DirectX karaoke. Dl and installed and works fine. Any way to zip the mp3/cdg and still play them?

    Create Snaps

Yeah it does the same thing for me with my zsnes games. Just will not create snaps. I don't have visual boy advance so can't test here. If you find something out. Let me know. I would love to do it for my zsnes games.

    Create Snaps

Well I know it doesnt work for my zsnes games. It did work for my nestopia and fusion games. You have to be a registered user if that makes a difference.
