  1. Weird....i tried what you said what indeed seemed the most logical solution, but oddly enough i found the UICancel programmed to Both ESC and Kbd2Kbd4(the desired buttons). Then i figured to remap them for the hell of it, and strangely enough both Kbd2 and Kbd4 were "disabled"(not working). Both via the tankstick as a regular keyboard wich under normal circumstances would lead me to conclude my keyboard is broken if it weren't for the case both buttons work just fine outside MAME and on every other emulator... I'm really puzzled :?
  2. hi tx for your input, and to answer your question i have tried several games and the x-arcade controller works perfectly with MAME, it's only the exiting matter that i can't grasp. However, i'm not sure if i'm right, but the 2P+2PCoin buttoncombination to exit an emulator back into game-ex is configured and controlled by game-ex yes?, not MAME i think since all emulators are exited this way and i didn't program them to....?
  3. Okay, reading this thread it seems you're not satisfied yet, so i'll give you what i have done since i got an identical setup.. I think your emulators are still configured for the primary screen, so they automatically switch back, but perhaps my workaround will solve those issues for you as well.. What you will have to figure out, is if (probably though) NVidia has a profile manager like the ATI Catalyst Suite. Basically you can choose the setup anyway you like (just TV, TV is primary, only Monitor, dual screen, etc) and save that configuration as a profile. Once saved you can load this profile via a commandline wich you are then able to use as an input for a batchfile. I don't know about NVidea, but for my ATI i have made several profiles that work as a step-program towards my desired configuration (eg. first profile just switches TV to primary, then pause, then second profile switches off Monitor) contained in a single Batch-file that is launched when i start up Game-Ex. When i exit, again profiles are loaded and i return to my normal setup. I use a step-program to smooth the process out a bit, as ATI doesn't seem happy to make all these changes with one command and gets conflicted sometimes(still by the way...but rarely now). This all may seem pretty hard, but in fact really isn't. Of course i don't mind assisting you but you would have to figure NVidea's way out yourself, because i'm not familiar with it. The big advantage of this workaround, is that all the processes get automated, so no unnecessary hassle is needed everytime you want to launch your game-ex. At the same time both gameex and most emulators 'like' working this way better. Although most are all 'officially' capable of handling a dual-screen practice shows that in reality you get the strangest problems...with a frustrated mood as a result. Good luck!
  4. Hi All, first post here but i guess not my last as the finalisation of my gameex-configuration is nearing its completion. Everything seems to be working great now (lots of emus and video that is), but i have an unresolved issue with both MAME as the external application StreetFighter IV. They work fine, but unlike with the other emulators it is impossible to exit via the 2players+2playerCoin option on my X-arcade. With the escape-button however, i can quit mame and(..in all fairness come to think of it..i don't know about streetfighter(got to check that out)) return to gameex smoothly. Anyone have an idea why that may be? ....i don't any input, even if you're just guessing, is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance, cheers,
