Hi all Just upgraded gameex to the new version. havent turned my machine on for a while. I now have a problem, when gameex starts it runs a mame game straight away and when i exit the game it goes to my mame menu. now if i go back which before it always took me to my main menu it just runs another game. Any help would be great thanks

oh i just thought it ran ontop of mame. didnt relise you had to config that aswell. can u just press tab or do u have to do it threw the ini

Just set up the netplay on my cab. Does anyone go on it or is it mine not working

thanks for the fast responce. i did look for a file like that to delete but i wasent sure what one it was. anyway i tried that and now it just comes up with no games found.

Just been adding some snes games to gameex. They all work perfect but ive deleted a few games and they still show up. How do i refesh the list. Also i think i done this but carnt tell till the list gets updated. To stop the save game files showing up in the list do i just type .srm in the rom filter box. thank you

i got the regedit open and found gameex on there but i dont know what to do then. all you usally do is just double click the the blue square box icon dont ya. thx

hi im trying to use the reg key on a windows 98 machine but it says it can only add reg script files or sumin. The regkey works on my xp machine but not on this 1

hi does any body have a crystal maze swp machine or manual because i have just got one but the hopper wires are broken and i dont know where to connect them. Also need the pinouts for the monitor connection because i have a different monitor to connect to it because the orginal doesent work. any help would be great thx

hi i thought a good idea would be to use the media player visualizations as a screensaver and any key exits the screen saver back to were you were.

thanks i didnt think it was a orginal so im gunna try and knock there price down now. what do u think the going price is? do u think i would be able to restore it back to like the orginal.

hi ya, thanks for your reply, i have already put show desktop and it does work outside of gameex but it still does not work. the lcd smartie is a program by tom but he has updated it to regerserd users only. and the lcd smartie wont load on windows startup if i use instant sheller wich is what i am trying to do. there is a option to run stuff on start up in gameex but gameex fail to load. ill keep trying but any help would be apperacated (sorry carnt spell) thank you

hi, i tried everything to get this to work. my problem is im trying to launch stepmania from the external applications but it just goes black and then gameex just comes back on. also how do i remove the screensaver and start mce or sumin off there, i carnt find it any where. also where do i get the new lcd smartie plugin, and can i get it to launch on start up because i tried it b4 and couldent get it to work so now i carnt use instant sheller and i have to run them both from the windows start on startup thing. thank you

there is a option in the configuration to change the in game cp view button, just delete it so it is blank. thats what i did. its in the advance mame settings

1)hi ive just built a new cocktail cab and its using gameex. is there a way i can show only the games that support cocktail flipping instead of just vertical games because i dont want games like 1945 and stuff cuz they arnt really proper cocktail games. 2)on my other machine i was using instant sheller to launch gameex but then i fitted a lcd display witch uses lcd smartie. i had lcd smartie running off the startup thing in windows xp but it doesent boot up if i use instant sheller. any help would be great thanks

hi, ive had gameex running on my cab 4 a while now and its great. but ive just built another cab, a cocktail one. is there a easy way i can sort the roms so i only have vertical games on one and horizontal games on the other. i know i could go to the vertical list or horizontal list and delete them 1 by 1 but it will take 4ever carnt i just delete the catorgory some how, help would very appreciated.

ive tried typing windows.exe in and it says it cannot find it. im using windows xp. i located by typing in explorer and deleted it but when i restarted it, it was the same.

hi, i used instantsheller on my machine and i can not get it off. ive undone the changes but it still takes over. is the any files i can delete in the reg or something.
