I'm on a roll to day bug testin the emu's . right on exit from playin future pin ball gameex crashis (just the graphics) all scrambled!!!???? and future pin ball is still running in the back round?

Hello people how ya doing, Could some please help me!! I'm trying to get T.H.O.T.D3 TO play in gameex it will lanch it but some times it will flicker white or not lunch at all. I have lego star wars playin all right and flat out 2 but not T.H.O.T.D3 it plays spot on with the LCD Top Gun out of gameex.

to get rid of the sound shudder I set mame32pluss up to have tripple buffer no vsink but make sure you set frame skipp to 2/12 it sorted my problem out. I no longer get screen tearing or sound shudder. hope that helps m8.

Hi headkaze, i'v tryed every thing but found that if you use the TV out on an ATI Graphics card it will not sink properly to the TV tryed on two different PC's useing an X1600 and an X1900pro both useing dule core duo's. They sink spot on when useing a standard PC monitor funny thing is It only affects Mame, that I no of I'm useing mame32pluss 116. Its a shame because when I was re-building the Cab playin on MAME in on the PC in the other room with V-sink on it was easy on the eye. Thanks for your response Headkaze I no your a busy man

Set the frame skip in mame to 2/12 and you can have V-sink on and tripple buffer as well its not silky smooth but you will not get any sreen tearing or sound Judder test on shonobi and see for your self IT COST ME A NEW PC TO FIND THIS OUT STOOOPID MEEEE Hope this helps peple having the same problems.

Hi all, i have come across a common problem witch seem's to pop up every now and then. Whith sound suddering in mame. Now my pc that WAS running the cab was showing its age, so I built A new pc with dule core duo E6420 cpu and a ATI Agp X1600, 2 gig ram,sound blaster PCI card. Now i have a high end gaming rig in the other room that i test all mame related stuff on. i can have every thing on ie (vert sink) (tripple buffer) you no all the bells and wissles. no problem shonobi runs no probs on that pc ( no shuddering) shonobi is a good one to test as sound shuddering start at the first screen. got the cab up and running with my new pc installed up to date thinking it would have no probs at all. RONG!! STILL HAD BLUDDY SHUDDERING I V-sink was enabled switch of the V-sink & tripple buffer & sink to monitor refresh all that stuff . It ran fine then but I was no better of with the pc I had. So pissed of i got the gamming rig and put in the cab same problem SUDDERING SOUND!!!!! It worked when it was rigged to a PC monitor. Problem being ITS THE BLUDDY TV OUT ON THE GRAPHICS CARDS!!! It will not sink to a TV!!

Not much m8. Got it working in gameEX but still have to manually mount the IMG on to deamon tools??? I have got gameEX to mount the IMG but then can't start the .uae config to start the game?? ps. Been havin lot's of fun playin turrican 2 what a game.(its a gem to remember that one)

hi. nologic just to let you no for some reson i can not have two WinUAE installed it keeps getting mixed up as to witch one is being selected?? if you change the paths in the winuae GUI it will change the path in the other winUAE as well??

ok all done as requested. still no games running yet ,black screen for 5 seconds then returns back to gameEX. I have seleted a few games but the same thing happen's. resulting in gameEX crashing??? oop's .net error responing or somthing!!! hope you have a plann. good luck nologic chat soon.

it sould not make any difference in mame version. never had that problem but I make sure my rom set match the mame version. 106 rom set pluss mame 106 all good so far very important if you would like all the games to work!! ps has the shuddering stopped??

Ok me thinks i'm getting somewhere. gameEX now launches the config (no crash) I had to take all the spaces out of each config name to get it to work"ODD". just get the CD32 screen, but deamon still will not load the disk?? I wonder if I need a rapper of some sort?? PS, AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH (All my hair on the floor)!!!!! This is a plea has any one got the WinUAE CD32 working with GameEX I now we can crack this.

Ok if I put the image in deamon tools first GameEX will launch the game no probs. If I set deamon tool to be emptey then try to launch a CD32 game in GameEX, GameEX then hangs with a .net runtime 2.0 error reporting. in my event viewer???

ok for some resone it will not launch the configs in the folder. even though gameEX is pionting to it. so i bunduled all the configs to gether .and winUAE launched the cd32 game in gameEX but i had still put the cd32 games in deamon tools i hope im getting somewhere :wub:

Nologic I have just sent an email to you with some configs. now if I mount the image first then go in to gameEX select the game, and it load's up fine???. and its in openGL no probs now it could be that my CD32 games are in seprate folders ie- ( C:\Emus\Amiga A500\WinUAE\CD32games\All Terrain Racing CD32. i have taken out some of the games cut and paste in to the CD32 folder. but it starts to get a tad messy, still dose not work anyway.??

Ok m8 no prob's i found in game FMV to be a bit juddery so try this config for beneath the steel sky it should remove the problem. on the left hand side pannel tick CPU, then on the CPU Emu speed tick Adgust between CPU and chipset. this should be done in my config. i will up load them to you now. (edit) cant up load to the forum if you give me your email i'll send them to you. Thanks. :lol:

thanks for the help, but still get a blank screen? it would be nice to include the uae config for each game, as each game has differnt screen settings, i have streched the image of each game to give me full screen on my 28" monitor 800X600. and also joy settings. some games need a mouse (simon the sorcerer) or two player joy on X-arcade. Its a shame winUAE dose not support a Virtual drive in the Emu the it would all be pre set in the configs. Keep up the good work nologic i no you can crack this thing, nothing seems to beat you. chat soon.

All i get is a blank screen?? not sure if you have to tell deamon to go to each game?
