Funny thing, I use mame32 v0.94 & the spinner/trackball work fine, I think anything newer than mame32 v0.97 requires you to map each game one at a time (yuk, that would take weeks). Here is the odd part, if I update the gameex game list using mame32 v0.94 it only finds 98 games which the version I want to use due to the spinner/trackball drama but now thats theres only 98 games I was baffled. BUT If I compile/update the gameex game list using mame32 v0.104 (or close to that version, cant remember since I am at work right now) there are 3,000 games that appear. SO I had to create the list with mame32 v0.104 but then sneak behind gameex & insert mame32 v.094 in the place of the v0.104 identical directory & then decline the question "want to update game list", after the next gameex boot, then I hit backspace & all the games so far on the list from v0.104 work despite using the v0.94 edition. I would imagine as long as mame32 can operate the game gameex wont limit its (mame32) abilities right? any ideas? thanks
