    PSX1.4

    I didn't need to do anything special for pSX to work for me, thats why I chose this emu. [Emulator_18] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=------------------ Sony Playstation TITLETEXT=Sony Playstation StartPageLogo=PSX ROMFilter=*.bin;*img RomsInFolders=False RomPath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\roms SnapPath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\Snap WorkingPath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\pSX_1_4 MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys=1000 SendKeys=%{ENTER} ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=psxfin.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= TitlePath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\Title Snap BoxPath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\Box Art LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath=C:\Project Arcade\18 Psx\Cartridge Art configFile= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic= PCGame= DATABASE= DumbyValue= For me its loading all my bin and img files. Use magicISO to convert any games that need converting. I had to sendkeys to make it go fullscreen durring bios load. I believe the tag to remove this screen is -fastboot .... thats if you really wanted to get rid of it, personally it brings back good memories
  2. hah! I'm an idiot to forget about that, works fantastic. Thanks Tom
  3. good info, im building usb controllers this comming week So say I had 4 controllers plugged in via usb when I started gameex, they would all be active and working? So maybe there could be a way in config to enable/disable these controllers to be loaded each time gameex loads, so no matter what the drivers are loaded with gameex and ready to go. Or like Michael said, add an option to exit menu (Reload, or Pad Synch)
  4. get a usb 2.0 hub, and if your computer doesnt support 2.0 then get a 2.0 pci card. This will solve those 1.0 quirks

    Emumovies

I'm torrenting right now off of pleasuredome which he has linked from his site. Takes 30 secs to register, fast torrents!!!!
  8. Sweet it seems like all those above suggestions made it work. Now its just exiting back to gameex that doesnt work, I think I've seen a few posts about it so I'll do some searching on that *EDIT* Nope, can't find a post on exiting back to gameex with winuae, gotta use alt-f4. If anyone knows, spread the wealth
  9. one problem I see with the password protected files is durring jukebox. If you have it set to random and the algorithm lands on a "locked" song you will lose audio and have a password box. Gameex will either have to scan the file before play, or an "Exclude the following(files or folders)" will need to be added to the Random function.
  10. I've already created configs for each of my games, but I maybe redo them since mine aren't currently working and to give some feedback on your app, plus I like your nifty apps headkaze
  11. hmmm, never thought of that, so enter would close the properties box for me. 7000ms should be enough time for the box to show up. I'm still having directx problems whenever gameex runs any video, even screensaver. Once thats fixed I'll try it out and let you know, thanks!
  12. Most functional:
  13. hey thanks guys for the replies, unfortunately I can't test it just yet. Something new is happening to my gameex box, gotta fix that first real quick before I can try these.
  14. I searched for hours, played with it for hours and now I'm just extrememly discouraged. Problem: I get a black screen when I launch a game. If I alt-tab I see that the Winuae properties box is launched, so I believe this must be the problem. I know there is a checkbox in each .uae file that you can turn off the properties box at launch, but everytime I try to do this, it always comes back as unchecked. I can change any other setting and save it, but this one I can't. I was running version .8something where I initially had the problem, but now I'm running the latest 1.2 and it still does the same thing. All the games run great if I just double click the uae files. And yes I do have each rom configed with the correct floppy path. On the command line i've tried removing the " " from rom file, I've tried -f, -no_gui=yes . Here's the log: [Emulator_4] Enabled=True StartPageName=------------------ Amiga TitleText=Amiga StartPageLogo=Amiga RomFilter= RomsInFolders=False ROMPath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga\ROMS\uae SnapPath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga\Snap WorkingPath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True AlsoLaunch= ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MapFile= OLDatZip= Command=winuae.exe -f [ROMPath]\[RomFile] TitlePath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga\Title Snap BoxPath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga\Box Art LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath=C:\Project Arcade\04 Amiga\Cartridge Art configFile= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= Import= Export= DumbyValue= PlayMusic= PCGame= DATABASE= Thanks for taking the time to read this -Matt
  15. this usually means it cannot connect to the station. Check all internet settings/firewall settings/ and check that the station still exists at the URL that you have in the configuration. The best way is to copy the url to ie and see if you get a shoutcast webpage with music playing. This happened to me on quite a few stations, I just had to update them to the new URLs. Good luck
  16. It'd be nice to execute next track/previous track (keyboard is a and s) while in attract mode.
  17. ah okay. Is there anything in the mix for adding this ability while in attract mode? It would have to be a top priority key, like what esc currently does, overrides any open application. It would be awesome for jukebox mode, not having to escape attract to change tracks Maybe I should post this in feature requests
  18. ah ya, thats what I'm using, its one of those Logitech wireless Duo's. Probably because i never configured the software for the keyboard, I'll try that and post what happens Thanks Tom
  19. Is it possible to execute next track/previous track (keyboard is a and s) while in attract mode? Doesn't work for me, but maybe its just me I do have media controls enabled -Matt
  20. I think the .exe file needs to be within gameex directory? Not too sure though.
  21. you can do this but you must allocate each user the specific shell you want them to use via registry key. So for your situation you could make an UpdateAdmin account that will start in explorer.exe shell, nothing else, EVER! looksie: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....ferentUsers.asp
  22. when I create snapshots for snes it usually gets to mid "s" (Samurais to be exact) section then it just stays at the desktop like yours, its still running in the background and I have to manually end process. Then as its showing the desktop the screen flickers just a bit. I've checked all power settings to be sure hard disks are always on. No biggie though, ill try other things like turning off playlist, and lowering the interval time
  23. maybe give dos line version a shot If this still doesnt help, then, try adding -j to the end of the command line (ex) zsnesw.exe -j for your sound problem try reducing your sampling rate or disable stereo sound. Good luck, post your results!
  24. This should be in feature request section
  25. flippin sweet man! Thanks!
