Right, i change it to Install update at startup and it did not make any difference. Yeah i have it on my 2nd internal drive, because my C: drive is a SSD and with the way the steam snaps/video/wrappers and do on are downloaded and store in the GameEX dir, it would soon fill my 128GB SSD, so i had to install it on my 2nd internal 1TB HHD. So i take it, this could very well be the problem then?

HI there, for some reason my auto update is not working. This happened the last update and i was hoping it was a bug, so i just re-install GameEX to update. Now the same thing happened again with the release of the new update today, so i thought i would report it. Here is my Game.ini file: GameEx.ini

It's always good to be upto date. there are many bug fixes and improvement like, integrated support of Steam in GameEx (just this new feature is worth upgrading alone) plus it will help if you come across a problem or you need help, as many of use are always up to date which you stand a better chance of getting your problem fix if you are too.

I just got a new game (Snuggle Truck) and it needed a wrapper (keeps asking for the screen res ever time you start it) So here is the Wrapper for you all to stop it 111100 - Snuggle Truck.rar.

Yeah i also have to agree, Both the Holiday Sale and the Summer Sale are amazing. Plus come this years sale i am hoping to rebuild my new account which is purely for my arcade. (this on i am using now) i also have another account which has a lot of games on but that was when i was in a team and playing CS: Source and CS: GO but there is a strong chance i will sell it as the games on there i never really played and not good for arcade (well some are but most not)

Well i never made any Wrappers before but thanks to AutoHotKey and the recorder, i found it pretty easy Well i made 3 today, as these 3 games are the only ones i got ATM that did not have a wrapper and which they needed one So i thought i would share them here: (feel free to edit them, if you can tweak them better, but they do work for me) 57650 - DUNGEONS - Steam Special Edition.rar 70650 - Worms Blast.rar 209790 - Splice.rar P.s Tom, feel free to add them to the installer

Yeah, as you say thought it does help a lot, special with new people that wanna play my arcade as it will tell them to stick it in . LOL. You can not beat a bit of sonic , i got most of the new ones on steam, i just not had the chance to sit down and have a good bash on them yet.

Thanks m8, it is now working. i had a quick go last night and when i checked the CDs i also found that every disk has the SYSTEM.CNF file, but i still could not get it working. All this was down to the Help Text, as soon as i read you last post i found the only step i missed out as the Help Text and once i entered help text it all worked Once again, thank you for all your help

Well, when i had Check for CD/DVD field to Yes, it would not do anything. it did ask for the CD/DVD but when i put it in, it was still asking and did not detect the CD/DVD I think this was down to the CD File to Check line, i was not sure what i needed to put in there, i did try and a put E:\ (thats my DVD drive letter) but it still did not work. My map file just has: Play From DvD Drive|Play From DvD Drive again i am not sure if that is right, it looks to work thought as its listing it and when i select it, it does start the emulator and as long as i have my disc in first, it will play.

Thanks guys, i manage to get it working but a little different that i would have liked BUT it still gets to job done . I manage to get it working by putting in the dvd in first and then select the name that i setup via a map file and then it all loads up spot on. i would have like to have done it the other way, select: Play from dvd (that the name i put in a map file) and then insert the dvd, but i am not too fussed now. Hi there. Is there away to setup the PCSX2 in GameEX to load the games direct from original PS2 dvd when inserted into the DVD drive? I have around 50 PS2 original games and i would love it so people can select the emulator in GameEX then just insert the disk and let it all load up. I just can not figure out how to do it or even if it can be done. So i thought i would ask on here

I am sure many welcome the recoil kit for the AimTrak but i still like the EMS TopGun myself as the recoil also moves the top of the gun. I used to one a topgun mark 2 and i never had any problems with it, i easy had it running in mame and its aiming was spot on, i was using it a lot and for the 6 months on owned it, i had zero problems with it i only sold it has i decided to hold off my build. now that i am restarting my arcade setup i will be going for the topgun 3. I always say, when it come to a arcade setup and light guns, it really so down to the user preference.

Mine was like that, but i went out and left it all running and when i got back they all had there banners & videos. I just takes a bit of time Pleased you got the steam folder sorted though

Are you using custom menus? if so, you need to add Steam to your custom menu.

Yeah, Tom is great from what i seen. I just posted it up on the feature request. As you said, its new to GameEX (GREAT addon to it BTW) and i am sure it will only get better.

Can there be a feature added, so we can change the location of the Steam Media folder? Myself i have a small 120GB SSD that i am running GameEX and my emulators on and then and i use a 2nd 1T drive for my ROMS and then a 3rd 1T drive for the artwork and video snaps. But as the steam games artwork is saved in the GameEX folder, it will max out my SSD very quick. Thanks

DAMN, i was hoping i could change the location in a .ini file somewhere. Might have to move the GameEX folder then, into the 2nd drive until it can be done, as it will fill out my SSD to the max. P.s i will post this in the feature request. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi there, is there away to change the steam media location? I moving my arcade setup to new drives and doing better faster setup (new faster pc). i wanted to install the GameEX and emulators on my SSD, roms on another drive and video, images, snaps on a 3rd. but as my SSD is only 120GB it will fill up in no time once i start playing my steam games. as it will save all the images and videos on the SSD. So is there away to change the location?? Thanks.

Spot on, thanks guys. Yeah everything is working fine, but some of the default video snaps SUCKS, so i would like to replace a few with my own ingame recorded footage.
