  1. Does anyone know if a specific command line exists that would allow me to click on a Colecovision game in GameEx and automatically launch the game via the BlueMSX emulator? When I click on a game now, BlueMSX launches ColecoVision and even appears to load the game -- but I just get a notice that I need to "Turn Game Off before Inserting Cartridge or Expansion Module". This forces me to "eject" the game and "reinsert" it in BlueMSX. The command line I'm using in GameEx is as follows: blueMSX.exe /fullscreen /pause /rom1 "[Emulation\ROMs\Microsoft MSX\Roms]\[ROMFILE]" Any help the team can offer is appreciated.
  2. Hi - For some reason, my Origin game list isn't showing up correctly on GameEx (Steam is just fine). It just says "No Games Found". Is there any way to manually redirect GameEx to read a folder where the Origin games are located?
  3. hmm....there must be something with my chrome settings....
  4. Does anyone know if the Emumovies site is down? I've not been able to access since last night and have been receiving this note: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 180 seconds exceeded in /home/emumovie/public_html/system/Db/Db.php on line 482.

    3D Cabinets

Hi All, Any advice on where I can obtain graphics/x files for 3D cabinets to use in GameEx? Please advise and thanks!
  7. Thanks, all. I disabled the integrated sound in the bios and installed the LAV codecs. Everything now appears to be working correctly -- I disabled ambient sound and still got the juke to work. All this is rather confusing, since I've never had these issues before but alas.
  8. Thanks, @Draco1962. I'll look into both options this evening and hopefully that will resolve the issue.
  9. OK -- figured it out. Apparently, to get my playlist music and the video snaps sound to work, I had to enable ambient sound (it was set to disable), which is currently directed to the ambient mp3. Now strangely, between songs, the ambient sound will come up briefly. The sound for the video snaps in the MAME section only work when I stop the playlist music. Once I turn the playlist music back on, the video snaps sound disappears. Seriously jacked up audio settings. Perhaps I DO need to do a codec reinstall?
  10. Agree - very unusual and was never a problem before. Running a desktop PC, sound through Creative SB X-Fi internal soundcard -- but the motherboard also has an integrated card. Again, when I start GameEx -- I get the intro sound and menu selection sounds just fine -- but nothing when I try to play music on the jukebox or from the videosnaps. Should I try running the sound through the integrated card to see what happens?
  11. Any other ideas on what might be wrong?
  12. Hi -- confirmed and still no sound from those videos or the jukebox.
  13. No problem, @Draco1962 . Thanks for your help.
  14. @DazzleHP -- are you there?
  15. Here you go, @DazzleHP! Hope you can help me out. GameEx.ini
  16. Hi All - I'm having a peculiar issue where I'm able to start Gameex and hear the title intro and menu selection jingles just fine, but no sound from the jukebox or the video snaps. Log suggests thtat I'm initialising the Windows Media Player Component correctly so I'm at a loss. Any help is appreciated. log.txt
  17. Hi All - For some reason, I'm getting sound from all other sources within GameEx, except radio stations. I can see that the station is streaming and visualization and soundbar indicator is working fine. I'm at a loss and would welcome any advice. Thanks!
  18. No worries. I resolved now. Only issue I'm now having is in trying to launch games from GameEx. Crashes every time, telling me I need to installl the .net framework 3.5. I already have it installed, so I'm at a loss.
  19. Hi All - Just reinstalled GameEx and related settings after a recent hard drive failure and having trouble launching GameEx due to what appears to be an Origin-related error. Any advice on how to fix would be much appreciated. Best, Tarsis
  20. Does anyone know if there's a way to transfer settings from the current GameEx version to this version? Would hate to reenter all the settings to get this one to run. Thanks!
  21. Bingo. Thanks, Tom. I removed those commands and everything is working properly. Appreciate your help!
  22. Perfect. See attached. Note the activity when I try to launch PacMan.Thanks! log.txt
  23. I've been trying without success to get the latest version of MAME to work within GameEx. I've ensured that the ROMs are mapped correctly, but every time I start a game it fades to black and just kicks me back to GameEx. If I try to start a game directly through MAME, I have no issues. Any suggestions on what I should do to resolve the issue?
  24. Ok...never mind the Tron problem...got it fixed...just had to reinstall the Themes. Now, only unresolved question pertains as to how I can get my GameEx reg file back after providing Tom Spiers my donation of $20. Thanks! Tarsis
  25. Greetings! Getting the following error when I start up version 6.13 using the Tron Theme..please advise. Also, I recently had a computer failure and lost the reg file I was provided by Tom Spiers after my donation of $20. How do I get this registration file back? Cheers.
