  3. Hi guys, Im having a bit of a problem with the Zinc emulator, it is running 100% fine no problems at all. BUT (always a but) the volume when playing a Zinc emulated game is like 200% louder than what i have Gameex volume set at (and every other game for that matter) i have tried lowering the volume in the control panel on every slider to be the same, but its still the same. Does anyone know of a command line? or an .ini setting to reduce the volume to a more acceptable level? Is anyone else having this problem too? please post even if you dont have this, so at least i know im not going insane on my own! Cheers
  4. Hi guys, im a bit confused about the new bezel feature in GameEx. I have it enabled and i get the default GameEx bezel artwork displayed when i play the vertical MAME games no worries, however i dont see how it is updating itself. Do i have to download them myself and put them somewhere? if so where?? Cheers Burch
  5. Hey all I was just wondering if there is anyway to make the default jukebox view "sort by album" rather than the complete listing of every song ive got in my rather large library??? also is there a way to stop the automatic play of the first song in the list??? Cheers

  16. now the hard part is finding a stack of .cdg files to go with my mp3s!!!!!!
  17. Working emulator entry for Karaoke CDG files running via Windows Media Player You must install the Karaoke for DirectX plugin from this site first http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...lease_id=251382 The custom config file for "karaoke" is also attached Note, these are obviously txt files and will need to be renamed/edited to whatever you want. config.txt Karaoke.txt
  18. nope, havent tried that. actually got it working as an emulator now! just found the command line options of the MSDN site, heres my ini... works great now! [Emulator_13] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Karaoke TITLETEXT=MP3+G StartPageLogo= ROMFilter=*.cdg RomsInFolders=False RomPath=e:\karaoke SnapPath= WorkingPath=C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=wmplayer "[rompath]\[romfile]" /fullscreen OLDatZip= TitlePath= BoxPath= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath= ConfigFile=Karaoke
  19. Ok. I found a free WMP plugin for karaoke files here http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...lease_id=251382 now i just gotta figure out how to have these run in fullscreen via gameex?? any idea headkaze???
  20. Hi! Anyone know a way i can get winamp to launch a mp3 through gameex? i have a stack of mp3+g (karaoke) files that i would love to add to the gameex menus. Winamp is the only prog i know of that will run these files. I have found a small utility that will let me launch winamp from the command line. but when it runs via gameex, it instantly pops back into gameex, rather than letting winamp run its course. any help would be awesome!!! here is my current ini file for it [Emulator_13] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Karaoke TITLETEXT=MP3+G StartPageLogo= ROMFilter=*.mp3 RomsInFolders=False RomPath=e:\karaoke SnapPath= WorkingPath=c:\Program Files\Winamp MapKeys=False WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=True Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=clamp /load "[rompath]\[romfile]" /play OLDatZip= TitlePath= BoxPath= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= CartPath= ConfigFile=Winamp
  21. Dont worry about it, figured it out! turns out MapKeys=True is a bad thing to do... it wasnt quitting the emulator properly.... made it false, and it works a charm!
