  1. All i have to say is thank you. I have used epsxe since I stsrted with gameex and could never find a good way to use it without an image file. Thanks and thanks again.
  2. The chanka config is here under the sticky at the top of the page http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=3&st=20 I use the latest version of chanka with the setup

    epsxe problem

double check this: WorkingPath=D:\games\epsxe\epsxe it says your path doesnt exist
  4. Ok, let me try two of these: Open KEGA outside of gameex and check under the options. Uncheck anything you do not want displayed. I believe you are talking about the time when you select a game in gameex and the game loading --->seeing the desktop. I don't think there is much you can do other than go to the display properties, select none for the background, black for the color and remove any desktop icons. That way when it shows the desktop you wouldn't see the transition. Or, hell make a big sign on your desktop that says GAMEEX IS NOW LOADING YOUR GAME to try and tie the whole thing together....just a thought. As for the joysticks, I use a usb to ps2 converter and have to use joy2key...I don't know about your joystick but if visual pinball won't read the inputs you might have to look at that for an option...unless somebody knows any different?
  5. I just checked out the nebula emu and the version I had needed ctrl enter for fullscreen mode. that would be this WaitBeforeKeys=5000 SendKeys=^~ or: WaitBeforeKeys=5000 SendKeys=^{ENTER} if this is not the case with your version (mine was version 2.24) increase the wait time to 15000 to give nebula time to load and then decrease it from there.
  6. I would try %{SPACE}. try looking here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default....sclasstopic.asp
  7. Try this: WaitBeforeKeys=4000 SendKeys=%~ I believe you would have been ok with "%{ENTER}" also.
  8. I just saw that and am probably going to implement this weekend. Thanks for all your help. I haven't looked at anything other than the message (I haven't checked the simkey program yet) but I will post back on how this worked for my set ups (Mame advancemane and Daphne) The Ratmonkey
  9. Agreeing with Rob, You might want to get Daemon tools or some other program to mount the image before you burn. If are having problems you might have a bad image file. Mounting and running it first is an easy way to pinpoint where your problem is at.
  10. Tom, I don't know if it's just me and Danny but I have also had some problems with the run before and run after settings. On some emulators they work and on some they don't. I mentioned it here with the run after: http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=360&hl= and here with the run before (I used the run also instead): http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=272&hl=
  11. Using the Digital Leisure Dragon's Lair DVDROM creates almost 200 mpeg files. The framerate text is what daphne reads to put them all together. If someone has this set I should be able to use thier file.
  12. I have to converted files and no longer have the DVD or the text file. Can anyone help?
  13. Try using this http://home.comcast.net/~cpviewer/download...necdwrapper.zip . Make sure to edit the config file for your paths and it should work. Do not use the launch before or after though use: Command=MagicEngineCDWrapper.exe "[rompath]\[romfile]"
  14. I have a copy of the DVD set of the Digital Leisure Dragon's Lair DVDROM. This has already been converted to Mpeg using the DVD2DAPHNE utility. The problem is I do not have the framefile. Does anyone have the file? It should start: 150 dl-slates.m2v 323 dls00.vob.m2v and have a bunch of entries after that. Thanks to all who can help. Ratmonkey

    EMU 25

I am setting up Pinball as my 25 emu. I have everything set up and working my only problem is the launch before and after settings don't seem to work. I am trying to set up joy2key to turn on and off when launching. I can get it to launch as an alsolauch but I am trying to keep that open in case I need vpauto.exe. It seems like these functions should work (since they were higher on the list) but I cant get them to load. Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Pinball TITLETEXT=Pinball StartPageLogo=Pinball ROMFilter=*.vpt RomsInFolders=False RomPath=D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball\Tables SnapPath=D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball\artwork WorkingPath=D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys=10000 SendKeys= ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=False ShowDesktop=True Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=VPinball-XPFix5.exe -play -"D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball\Tables\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= TitlePath= BoxPath= LaunchBefore=D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball\JoyToKey.exe LaunchAfter=D:\GameEx\Visual Pinball\joy.brs CartPath= [Favorites] ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True (the brs file terminates the joy2key.exe)
