  1. Did you manage to play around with it and get it working with GameEx? If not then you should start playing around with it and get to know how to use it then this way you will be more familiar with how to install and use these bezels with whatever emulator you choose within RocketLauncher because not all modules in RocketLauncher are bezel ready. I always make sure it works within the RocketLauncherUI before setting it up in GameEx. Plus you won't get so frustrated if you can't get things to work right away because you will already be familiar with the program. I had to switch emulators myself within RocketLauncher because some don't play nice with the bezels especially Stella. Stella works great in RL just not the bezels at least not yet that I have found..
  2. Which compile options do you recommend I should have ticked? For me I only have Force Direct Input, 64-bit and no errors.
  3. Not a big deal as I already compiled just the mame source and d/l an already compiled version of mameui which I just use for quick scan and play when I want to plus check if all files are working. Thats all. Faster interface to get my results on the fly.

  5. After compiling mame the buildtools folder has red exclamation points on some of the folders again is that normal or do I need to keep deleting and reinstalling the buildtools folder?
  6. Tried the latest MAME Compiler v2.0.162 for MAME 0.162 and I get error at end about Windows x64. Noticed the Sub Target now has Arcade trying that and re-compiling too see what happens as I had it set on Default. Will let you know what happens. Nope! make: *** [windows_x64] Error 2 UPDATE! Had to install the offline BuildTools from MAME's site as doing it from MAME Compiler left alot of the folders in buildtools with a red exclamation ! Re-compiled and now it works.
  7. This page might help! RocketLauncher forums also good place to ask ?'s they are very helpful over there and the developers are always on there and quick to reply. Check these YouTube videos for help as well Simply Austin and Giga Guides.
  8. Not sure but being that it is free better reserve it because I hear it cost$149 and eventually with most OS's you will need to upgrade at some point. Release date is July 29th.
  9. Are you talking about the password to unzip? Look here at the very bottom of the initial post it tells you the archived password!
  10. Tonight I noticed a windows logo icon by my clock in the taskbar .... looks like Microsoft gives you an option to reserve a copy and will notify me and update when it's released. Anyone else get this?
  11. To show you what I am talking about. Here is the fullscreen with instruction cards and no bezel.

Mattel Intellivision bezel done! *Note: Also you will be able to switch between fullscreen and bezels while playing the game and still have the ability to display instruction cards in fullscreen using my bezels. Nice for those who may like to play the games in fullscreen but still want to use the instruction cards.
  13. Changed the cart port graphics by adding in some shading, blending and all new port graphics all together.
  14. Atari 5200 bezel I am working on for RocketLauncher with instruction cards!
  15. Ok I think this will be the final version for my Atari 2600 Bezel with Instruction Cards!! This is made for HDTV's @ 1920x1080 with RocketLauncher installed. I really like how this turned out. Now I can move forward and start working on each game theme, bezel and instruction cards now that I have the layout done. More cool things coming....
  16. You should!! ... It adds alot more features to any frontend as you can see and it's easy to use and incorporate into GameEx or any other frontend for that matter. Theme Update!: Still playing around with the Bezels and tweaking it a bit more. Should have a final version of the bezel layout by this weekend (hopefully!) also more 2600 game themes but that all depends on what the wife has planned. Nice thing with RocketLauncher also you can have more than one bezel and switch between them with a flip of a button or key as well so I may create multiple bezels for each game.
