hi guys i was wondering if you could please tell what folder i have to extract this file into so it will show up in game ex as my default bezel ive tried to extract it into the media folder and also the media bezel atrwork folder in game ex but to no avail game ex boots back to the front end whenever i try to lauch it any help would be great thanks again!! jester

thanks for all the help guys! got it working flawlessly you guys are the bomb! now with the saturn emu it brings the count of emus in my mame cab to over 25 emus in all and over 50,000 games yes that number is accurate lol ive added them up when i was bored! lolthanks again for all your help guys! and tom thanks tom for a great looking front end! game ex rocks! regards jester

the reason i ask is i also have my pc running through my tv and ive found at anything higher than 800x600 at 60hz cause my tv to freak out sometimes its kinda funky! try setting your desktop to 800x600 see what happenes regards jester

cool i have it launching in fullscreen but when it mounts the image inside daemon tools the window come up in front of the emu letting you know that daemon has mounted the image thus blocking the emu from loading full screen unless you click on it to close and ive tried both show desktop and dont show desktop inside the game ex ini any ideas how to stop daemon from showing what its loading so it doesnt stop the emu from loading propery?? thanks again jester

hi guysi was wondering if any of the game gods out there can gimme a hand with a config for this emu? i cant seem to get it to work inside game ex works fine outside but once i try to get it to work inside game ex im lost anyone know if SSF has command line support? hope someone can point me the rigth direction it would be a shame if i couldnt get a good saturn emu inside my mame cabinet thanks for the help! regards, jester

It has also been reported that this may be due to your PC overheating, and applying the Sleep and NoWaitVsync settings resolved this. Look at the Sleep and NoWaitVsync settings in GameEx.ini. In addition, make sure the setting for using DirectInput for the keyboard is not set. If you still have problems, please post on the Yahoo group, and be sure to include all logs, configs, and what controller you are using. is your keyboard wireless or connected through usb???? try this see what happens and thank tom for the answer lol i just pulled it from the faq!!! lol hopes this help some! regards, Jester

sorry guys this post is kind of off topic but i feel i need to let the community see this for this is the ultimate horror that we hope does not happen when someone converts an arcade cabinet for use with MAME http://web.archive.org/web/19990922104050/...larcade/dl.html i saw this link and just about cried! why on earth would someone trash a very rare cabinet like this i would have figured it would be more value to someone restored to full working order than being hacked apart!!!! for use with MAME not that i have any problem with MAME i have a MAME cabinet myself i didnt post this to have people flame this guy but i did however post this just to show hoe easily something can be lost forever!! PLEASE FOLKS! anyone building a Mame cabinet build from scratch or at least if your going to convert use a cabinet that isnt as scarce!!!!!!!! i have posted this here today in hopes that all mame cabinets builders will take heed in thier choice of cabinet conversions!! thanks all for your time! hi tom im running daphne fine in my mame cab with no issues however one of the games i would like to run in my cab goal to go is broken in the most recent release of daphne im running i have an older build of daphne that supports this game is there a way for me to add a second emu for daphne so i can run both builds and be able to still play all my games?

hi tom i just updated from 103 to 107 and now my default mame bezel doesnt show up on my vertical games i have not changed any settings just dropped the new mame.exe into the old folder and overwrote the files what could have happened here? thanks for your time tom and keep up the great work!!! thanks Jester

hi im having one hell of a time trying to configure mess to play my 5200 ,7800,and jaguar roms it seems that no matter what game i select it only plays one game no matter what i ve seen this question posted other where in the thread but saw no answer that worked anyone have any ideas??? and yes i have already deleted the config folder and also re-installed many time and still no luck also the command line switch ive been using is mess.exe jaguar -cart "[rompath]\[romfile]" for the jaguar messgui.exe a5200 -cart "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" -joy -now -nonewui for the 5200 messgui.exe a7800 -cart "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" -joy -now -nonewui for the 7800 any ideas these seem to be correct i dont know what im missing?? lol thanks for the help Jester
