  1. For some reason Pinball FX2 is missing the "System List Media" entree. FX, FX3, Future Pinball, and Visual Pinball have this, but I'm not sure how to create this for FX2. I think these all got auto created somehow the first time I used one of those platforms. Any ideas if the database mgr can add that for me?
  2. Thanks for the guide! I just got mine figured out and then saw this. It looks like you can output this now directly to pinDMD3, but I have been using it for some time already. I still need the dmd to display on my backglass for those newer tables that won't display right in my pindmd3. So I have been just mirroring what's displayed on the backglass to the pindmd3.
  3. Dang, saw this a little to late. I just got it working on my own and so far it's working great. I do thank you so much for the automation script I was using. Really worked great.
  4. Any idea how to launch a table directly now? I dont see where they show how to do that, only that it was added recently.
  5. Good point! Definitely mention it here if you find a bug. In my case I share my computer for pinball and gaming so it's duel boot. In pinball mode I use the 3rd monitor for table setup and configs. Having a big mouse cursor makes it easy to do while in pinball mode. Just have to remember not to leave the cursor in the middle of the playfield or backglass😊
  6. You can use any cursor you want if you replace the file BlackDOT.cur file in the PinballX dir. I do this because I always seem to be tinkering and like having the cursor that is easy to find and move around. So when I'm in game mode I use this large Mario Brother cursor that is easy to find. Then if PinballX crashes or something happens, I still have a mouse cursor. Keep in mind that if you do an update to PinballX, you will need to copy your custom cursor back.
  7. @Tom Speirs Sorry Tom and not sure how I did that. I do use a VPN, but it normally always connects to the same vpn server. Thanks for getting me fixed back up and hope I stay off the naughty list. I do appreciate all that you do and even signed up for a second lifetime membership a month ago to this site. Your app makes the VP experience great! I have tried some of the other front ends and was never happy with how they looked or worked.
  8. I just noticed my FTP access if telling me my pw or username is not correct. I have not changed this in some time and I only use the database app Mike wrote to access it. I have logged out and back into the web page and the user/pw is working fine. Is this something on Mikes side maybe with the app or has my account lost that access?
  9. I just upgraded to run all my vpx tables on 64bit. So far I have not seen a table that does not play. I see in your example you show ghostbusters slimer and Americans most haunted. They both seem to play ok for me in 64 bit.
  10. Thanks for the help Mike! I did get this working and it did require the 1.9 version you mentioned. Load times are so much faster now for each table. Great fix for my Pindmd3 issues.
  11. Thanks! I am running v1.8 of Flexdmd and don't see 1.9 available. Do you have a link for that? My dmd is working much better now that Tom made those changes. I do see it fail if I wait to long before playing a table. This would rarely happen to me, but figured if you already worked out the fix I would try it.
  12. Perfect! loaded a few tables and it seems to work great now. Also I don't see this coming on before PinballX returns like I did before. Thanks for the fix!
  13. Same issue with that new version. I tried clock without stats and it still gets stuck behind the table video. I can use stats fine with or without clock. Also I notice that after I click the close button on a table, I see your clock come back before PinballX comes back on with my table video. The stats app does not show up until after PinballX is loaded again or at the same time. Not sure what causes the clock app to come on first after a table it closed. This happens regardless of table type. See it with FX/2/3 too.
  14. Thanks Mike! I went to the dmd3 site and found some files that did the trick. I already had the app that lets you set the brightness/color shades. They had a small exe available for download called pinDMDclear.exe that did just what I wanted.
  15. Yes, I do see that displayed when it first starts. Then the dmd goes black shortly after that when PinballX is done loading. I can start a game and the dmd works. When I exit the game the DMD for PinballX comes back on fine. It's just when I first start PinballX. log.txt PBXFlexDMDDisplay.txt
  16. Thanks for the fast response. You are correct in that it the clock is still there and running, it just get's hidden once the playfield video starts. As a side note I also use that statistics app you created and that does work fine after I quit a game (by the way, great job on that! I just discovered these plugin's the other day). I have the attached files you asked for. PBXClock_log.txt PBXClock.ini PinballX.ini log.txt
  17. I just tried this and really like how I can customize the clock and move it. I seem to have an issue that after I quit a table I see the clock come up for about 2 seconds and as soon as the table image loads again, the clock is gone. Any ideas?
  18. I just tried this plugin and it seems to work great. My only issue is that when I first launch PinballX, I dont see a dmd displayed. After I launch a table, quit, and go back to pinballX it back and working until the next restart of pinballX. I did create that file, but that did not change anything. I do see your start screen come up when PinballX is loading, so I guess it's working.
  19. Thanks for that! I know PinballX will turn it black while a table loads. I was just not sure how I could do something similar. There is really no dmd process when I boot into that other drive or dmd driver/dll. So the dmd only shows the text that comes on when you boot and rotates colors. I was thinking I could add the dll for the dmd and some how use that to send a blank/black screen to it and then exit.
  20. @Draco1962 Yes. It's kind of silly, but I power the DMD via the 5volt connector in my computer. It's duel boot computer and I use one drive to boot into pinball and the other drive is encrypted for work/non pinball games. The goal is so I don't have to see the dmd display on my pinball table unless I boot into that drive.
  21. I know this really does not have much to do with PinballX, but hoping someone might be able to help. I'm trying to find a script that will turn off my dmd display for a pindmd 3. It will still have power going to it, but I want to see a black screen vs what it shows on a reboot.
This app has saved me so much time and I appreciate all your work on it! It really makes adding and changing media for PinballX a snap!
  22. Thanks so much @joyrider3774. I have all this working with my Steam collection. FX might not have a direct table launch, but this is damn close and works great. Plus even have the option to choose what type of game to play. I also go to my pimdmd3 to work with the FX games. Again thanks and great work!
  23. Thanks for this. appreciate all the work you did to create it.
  24. Wow, great work and can't wait to check it out! I just got the games for Steam and never had them with epic.
