  1. I get it..... But when you just want a front end to function....What's the point. I hate loading up tables and they don't function or they are slow. Sorry, I'll just stick with 6.22 as IT WORKS.... Maybe close the case.
  2. I know you want to see log files, but again going back to 6.22 and the table opens, plays and function/works 100% as it should......???? I also have the slow exit problem using 6.58 which seems to be fixed using 6.22.....????
  3. Absolutely no DOF in my setup. A very standard iPAC for buttons, nudging and ball shooter - Basic to say the least. One thing I did was go back to 6.22 and I have to say.... Exits are quicker. I will make changes to 'full screen windowed' but will this stop me being able to Q a game to go back to the editor and make changes and then F5 to restart a table OK? I do that SO OFTEN for changing ball rolling volumes, reduce bloom fx etc.
  4. Is 13 seconds normal to close a VPX 10.7 table though? I might go back to 6.22.....
  5. And another issue. Using latest PinballX 6.58 no matter what I do, no matter if it's 32bit 10.7 or 64bit 10.8..... The table opens, Ultra DMD shows up, BG shows but PF is off, no coins can be accepted, no way to exit, NOTHING. Alt-F4 or cntr-alt-del is only way out of table...... Opening file outside of PBX - works like a charm.......????
  6. PinballX.inilog.txt For your advice.... Under 5.22 almost all tables would exit within 1 second maybe 2. Since moving up to later releases this has become 4-5 seconds and sometimes up to 8-9 seconds to exit back to the wheel.PinballX.ini I'm running Windows 10, Core i5 12400F, 16GB ram, RTX 3060 - Future Pinball, VP9, PM5, VPX6, VPX7 and VPX8 (Beta). VPX8 is 64 bit DX - all others 32 bit DX. No OpenGL versions. 2 Screen Cabinet only. This table played was Cirqus Valtaire VP10 (VPX 10.7) and it seemed to take ages to return to the wheel when exiting. From what I can read in the log.txt is 13 seconds correct?
  7. You will recall I raised this previously when I updated to 6.54. When updating again to 6.58 it seemed much better.... BUT..... Again I am finding that some table exits are much slower than others. It definitely seems related to the most recent PBX updates...... I had run 5.22 for a LONG time and it was great with speed. Something has been introduced in the mean time to make the interface seem sluggish "at times". Not all table exits, just some. VPX 10.8 tables are the main culprit as most of VPX 10.7 and even the old VP9 tables are almost instant.... Only use DX and no Open GL.
  8. Well, whatever was wrong with 5.64 is OK again with 5.68. Like keithhov above its about 3-4 seconds to exit again - which is how I remember it from past releases!!
  9. OK will try 5.68. Using only the DX VPX. Have not tried OpenGL. It did also seem slow to close on VP9, VP10.7 tables as well....
  10. Has anyone found that a recent PBX update (specifically 5.64) when exiting tables, it is now very slow? My system is now taking 20-30 seconds to close the selected game and get back to the wheel...... I'am not going to try 5.68, as I have already seen plenty of issues raised.....I notice that not all releases have change logs to see if this might have been looked at.....
  11. Sorry Guys, I am running 64 bit Windows 7 Professional, so can I just go and grab the latest PBX 5.43 as per Windows 10/11 users ? Terry
  12. Hi all, I'm happily running PinballX 4.13 on my Windows 7 Cabinet. I notice that the latest versions available require .NET 5 and state that they are for Windows 10/11 only. Does this mean that I am stuck at 4.19 (the last of old version) on Windows 7 for ever? Happy to hear anyone's feedbacl/comments..... Terry
  13. Currently running PinballX 4.07 and I can't get any screen dumps of the playfields or backglasses for my FP tables. It works fine with all my VP and VPX tables. I made the "o" key the screen dump key in PinballX. Also can anyone confirm if their is still a table limit when using Game Manager?
Is there a reason the links to the changelog go nowhere?
