  1. Ahhh I was doing -volume 0 and still getting sound. Thank you, I had the answer and didn't know it.
  2. Hmmm AdvanceMAME has a -sound_volume command line option
  3. I am using mame and video commercials as my screensaver on my cabinet. I am having a large discrepancy between the sound volume of mame and the videos. Mame is low and the videos blare. I want both to be similar vol, and be a preset vol every time no matter how loud my last game or DVD was playing at. Am I missing something, or should I put a request in to add settings in the ini for screensaver vol and screensaver video vol? Would it even work in mame? Is there a way to pass a specific volume level on the command line?
  4. Its a config in every emu. The only all encompassing solution would be to switch your primary monitor setting.
  5. Sidetrack. Has anyone tried the Vista codec pack on XP? can it be done? It will be 7 years before boxes are fast enough for me to consider using Vista...
  6. Ill keep working on this over the weekend. Please post with any info you have to add. I mainly want to get a comparison of different emus, so please post.
  7. That could have the same emu repeated several times in the list with its info, lets see how it works out.

  9. I have thought of that before. It would be nice to have a quick opinion from the members on each one. I have found myself asking as I start work on each new system. Should it be sorted by EMU or system?
  10. So are you running Server 2000-2003 with gameex? Do you have any issues with emus?
  11. Is nullDC more or less the only game in town? I am setting up dreamcast now. Is it worth me looking at Chanktast? And do you recommend I locate and use 100.b.1.6?
  12. Same with my touchscreen, but If I config it to do a doubleclick on a touch then it will doubleclick when I touch a scroll down, moving 2 pages. Ergo I cant be fixed completely with the driver

Where are you guys from??? Wow. Here we go top all time: 1) Ghostbusters - must quotable movie ever "What did you do Ray?" "Cats and dogs living together, mass hysteria!" "Nobody ever built them like this" "OK, so she's a dog" 2) Tombstone - "Go ahead, skin that smoke-wagon and see what happens" "You ever seen anything like that? I've never hears of anything like that" 3) Army of Darkness - "Good, Bad, I'm the guy with the gun."
  14. New drives came out a month and a half ago and solved all my issues. All but I wish the sensor had a wider arc. i still have to stand back a min of 4.5 feet.
  15. I havent set it up yet, but if you mounted both disks to different drives at startup is there a way to get the emu to find both?
  16. My box is running a big job right now, but off the top of my head the LED plugin needs to find your mame dir and control info. I believe it reads that from the gameex paths. Double check that all you mame settings in GameEx setup are correct.
  17. A ROD theme cab, interesting, that's a bit obscure.
  18. I would suggest an "Upgrade" folder. I would like to just pull down the new vids that are in 125 that were not in the last set.

    mame32 settings

I had a similar problem. I have multiple versions of mame. Make sure you are pointed to the correct one. I like using mameui because I can configure it from the gui and not have to pass and cmd line arguments.
  21. I would have but I have not figured out to to exit ccs one I go full screen other than alt F4. My config wouldn't stick. Also yes doing it one by one via fraps would be better quality, but I didnt want to kill myself. I wanted something automated.
  22. Also I suggest adding an additional rmdir to the head of the cmd. It will still clear it if the cmd is forced to close. I have some issue creating snaps-videos where after the allotted time GameEx starts another emu but never exits the last one. The cmd the way its written keeps unpacking the files and running the first file it finds.
  23. greatflash you might want to add -window to your runzip.cmd I didn't get it running right without it.
  24. Yes that helps a lot, it still baffles me that the associated art uses no naming convention. I think I'm going to give up on doing a match up.
  25. Thanks much greatflash. lot of help. I have a question though. Reading your config listing for ccs http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?sh...ost&p=38110 Has this work around for zips changed since the 7zip feature was added? Wouldn't it be more direct to utilize Gameex's internal function? And why why why do these sets come in this format? No matching data names cover to cart to rom. Every letter in a different folder? What kind of obsessive compulsive freak does this? You would think someone would torrent a good set for crying out loud.
