Hi all, It's possible to do this? There are no options to do that on setup wizard.... Thanks in advance!!!
-
Just say I just try again and this problem does not happen with the MAME videos. Only happens with the videos of my emulators. It is very rare. As you can see in the video, step through the list of MAME games is very fluid. However, going through the list of emulators jumps some games and is not fluid.

Correct all, the lag is when loading videos. It makes you can't advance the list speedy. If the games has an image instead a video it loads perfect. When i'm on the main list (i have no videos for my systems) and load the images it's very speedy, you can browse the emulators list well. The problem is in my case inside all the emulators list, when a video load it lag.

Same problem here with Windows 8.1 The problem on my system is on latest GameEx version. Any solution to solve it? Thanks in advance. Edit: The problem is only on list of games, i can select items perfect without delay on main list of emulators. It seems is a problem with video load. GameEx.ini log.txt

Hi Dazzle, How can i configure the two options (exit and pause menu) with this combination? Where to put it on setup wizard? Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Tom, I wanted to make a small comment to try to improve this new option for the guide button of xbox controller. 1 - Is it possible to reduce the time you press the button to only 2 seconds? I think have to wait five seconds to exit the game is too long. With map key the exit is at the same moment you press the button. I understand it is to avoid accidentally pressing, but with two seconds would be more than enough in my opinion. 2 - (this would be great) If you press the button for two seconds the game exit, but if you press the button twice you go to pause menu in-game ... I think it will not be possible but I would like to have both options with the same button. If you think you could do this, I will be very grateful. As always, thank you very much for everything you do for us and your great work.

I have an Xbox controller, but i don't know what this update can offer to me.... sorry... I will update this afternoon and try to view something in the config. EDIT: Ok, installed the latest GameEx versión and now i know what this option is: You can choose between exit the game or return to the in-game menu options. Very useful for me, because now i can remap all my buttons and not lose one to exit game function. Thanks for this update Tom.

Hello everyone !!! I'm watching the latest features of the update and do not understand well this: Can anyone explain more this? What's the "game mode" function? It's the same as pressing "esc" key to exit a game? Thank you very much.

Feature & Enhancement Requests
Evilforces replied to Tom Speirs's topic in FAQs, Guides, & Other Useful Information
After a big headache, I think it would be convenient if we have the option to merge sets on, when you exclude a rom should get in the list of roms excluded all those that are set and not just the first one. This would facilitate further erasing all roms that are set and not just the first one. -

[RESOLVED] Deleting physical roms from excluded games list

Ok, solved the mystery of the missing text, back to the main problem. Any way to delete these excluded roms from my life? ;-) -
[RESOLVED] Deleting physical roms from excluded games list
Evilforces replied to Evilforces's topic in General
Just to clarify. The problem with hidden text is not in the list of the emulator in GameEx, but in shaping the Setup Wizard in text box of excluded roms. I think it's because there is too much data on the line, because if I delete some data text reappears. -
Thanks Null!!! Please, let me know if you have a solution to delete my excluded roms on my system (Gameex latest version and Win 8.1) Thanks in advance!!

[RESOLVED] Deleting physical roms from excluded games list
Evilforces replied to Evilforces's topic in General
I do not want to use this program with MAME , but with my emulators that already I have the complete collections, in this particular case with Nintendo 64. I do not think they'll get more games this system right? ;-) -
I runned the tool as administrator when this happened.... I do not understand that now I can not see the letters on the list of excluded games emulator I've tried deleting the roms with this utility. If I select the content of the box and paste it in a txt i see the names of my excluded games, but not seen in the textbox excluded games on Gameex .... Occurs only in the emulator I have used this utility. In the other I see the text properly in the excluded games list on Gameex config.

I just use the program and all it has done is clear the list of excluded roms. Now back to have my dirty list and the roms I do not want. I thought this program erased roms from the original folder, but it seems that all it does is clear the list of excluded roms (do not understand that it serves this) Any solution?

Hi guys, I wanted to know if there is any way to use the list of excluded games to erase these games on roms folder where they are. Is there a program or batch file that allows to do this? Thank you very much for your answers. Edit: Ok, found this thread and think it's my solution!!! http://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/8455-release-delete-excluded-roms/ Edit 2: I just use the program and all it has done is clear the list of excluded roms. Now back to have my dirty list and the roms I do not want. I thought this program erased roms from the original roms folder, but it seems that all it does is clear the list of excluded roms (do not understand that it serves this) Any solution? Edit 3: Now when i exclude roms from my emulator, the list on the Gameex config (setup wizard) appears with white letters. If your select there is something here, but it's not visible. I tried to copy the content of the excluded roms on a txt file and there are names of the roms, but are not visible. I don't understand nothing..... Edit4: Ok i found the problem now. The problem is i have selected the meged sets on my emulator and when you exclude a rom it only exclude the first rom contained on the merged set. Whe you use the utility it delete only the first rom on this set and clear the excluded roms list. Now, if you see the list the game re-appears because it's compossed by 2 or 3 or more roms that make the full set. You need to apply this operation until all the roms are deleted.

Nice to hear that!!! Congratulations!!!

Ok, I tried the option to merge sets and seems to not repeat any game list, but I see that does not clean the games do not work. What criteria are used to create the list when you choose the option of merged sets? Is it possible to choose which games do not appear? (without using filters) Another problem I found is that if when I choose the option database name, the list does not correspond with the game on the screen. I reported this problem in another thread. I know the solution is that closing or deleting the cache files, but in my case this not solved the problems all the times. I think it would have to check this aspect of GameEx and the method to renew the cache. My experience with this problem is not positive so far. Thanks for your answers.

Hi Thurmans, One noob question: Where do you see the hi-scores inside Gameex? I'm talking to see my hi-score inside the game on the "top players" table on every game. If i enter now to my bubble bobble game and i'm on the demo video, there is a moment i can see the top players table and can see all my hi-scores. I don't know where to see the hi-score out games. Is there a place inside Gameex to see this (not entering the game)?

Hello everyone, I have some collections of games (no-intro) in which there is the same version of the game in several regions (jap) (eu) (usa) ... My question is: is there an option to not repeat these versions in the list of GameEx and thus have a clean list?. If I choose the option of "database names" on Gameex config, it will appear only the roms that are in the database? In what way can you have a clean list of roms in GameEx if you have many different versions of games? I love having the full entire collection of all my emulators, but i prefear to have a clean list of it. I need to combine this two things to reach the Nirvana :-) How you guys manage this situations? Like I'm asking something that is not possible ... do not know. Thank you very much in advance.
