So when you say this worked for you, what exactly does that mean as far as time lengths go? I have no idea what to expect, but my experience with PinballX with the freecam mod with PBA direct X 11 version, is it takes pinballx from when you select a game around 40 seconds before it is finally sitting on the game list menu in PBA and it has attempted to select the game you chose in pinballx (wrong game for me every time it would seem) Is that to be expected?

Oh, did not know that. It's been awhile but I could have sworn the first time I launched it (and my firewall blocked it) it popped up some dialog saying I needed to create XXX named file to make it work offline.

It was my understanding that if any file exists with that name in the directory it will be in "offline mode" and not try to phone home. So you can just copy any file into that directory and re-name it that, or just open notepad and save a blank file named that in the root of that directory.

CameraMod is awesome for those with cabinets, requires PBA DX11 unfortunately. And then PBX can't really launch the table correctly. And it takes a long time to select the wrong table. Such a shame that Pinball Arcade won't support cabinet configurations better.

A really nice tool for managing your local Windows firewall, is Windows Firewall Control: http://www.binisoft.org/wfc.php Try it, for those that want to simplify things, turn on notifications and medium filtering. Launch each thing you have that communicates to the Internet, either click on the create a blocking rule when it pops up notifying you it is trying to communicate, or click on the allow rule. You can then block specifically what you want or don't want communicating to the Internet.

Thanks, will check it out and see if I can get it to work with recent Pinball FX 2 and PinballX. Based on reading it sounded like that was used several versions back and not needed anymore, if it can still be used and accomplish what I am looking for, that would be great.

Does PinballX support starting tables in multi player (hotseat) mode with Pinball FX 2? Instead of just single player games? I searched the forums here, and can only find requests to have users post their pinballx.ini file. Or posts (when you go further back in time) to request the feature in this thread: Does PinballX support this currently? I don't see any options in the settings related to this. Thanks

I did not see these anywhere on the FTP site, and the only Aliens related DMD video all seemed to be in some other language. There are 2 versions of each. 780x204 and 1260x450 Forgive me if these are not standard resolutions, new to this and captured these at the resolution I used on my LCD for DMD, they look fine on my cabinet. /-PinballX-/Other Uploads/bduncan/ Edit: Just realized I probably should have uploaded them into more specifically named sub directories in case I contribute other media. If someone could move them into /-PinballX-/Other Uploads/bduncan//Pinball FX2/DMD Videos/ please.
