On a related note.. It always changes my "Windowed" setting to full screen after an update..... No big deal......Just thought I would mention it...

I waited until I built this new one to try it again and I must say Gameex has far more scope than what I had imagined... Trouble is, it has given me new "Non GF friendly" project ideas.... This update I would say..... Menu's are really fast on my box as well after this update..... No doubt they'll be borked with the next one though......

Well thank you Mr Speirs..... I thought you had snuffed it or sthg..... No hourly updates on news in a fair while........... And now I have a new box I thought I'd give it another go......Run a bit shit on me old one.......Box was ancient ....... I must say from what I have farked about with so far it seems a jolly nice program indeed......... How's that for a public kissass..........

Adding an .ini so you could map the mng dir path and not have to enter it in the commandline. The choice in the .ini to loop the mng if just playing one The fullscreen choice in the .ini not in the commandline The choice to play through the mngs in the dir....not just one The choice to set it to random so it picks the mngs at random. As I said before just so I can launch your player and have it play the mngs as a sort of never ending attract mode in a cabinet.....which I could watch instead of TV.. Hmmm.....Do the names of the game appear in the mngs ??... Just thought if someone like me or a mate see's a game they like the look of they would be able to know what it's called..... No prob if none of this is possible.....as I said just thinking out loud

Nah still locks on shutdown.... Don't worry about it at the moment Tom... Especially if no one else using 98se has the problem.. I'll test again when I have my dedicated box up and running with a clean install... Then if it still knacks up I'll pester you...

Oke Dokie.... Now if anyone else uses 98se please test... I can't try this on my dedicated box coz it blew up... I can only try it on this one, which is my main box and has all manner of protection on it..eg Firewall, AV and anti spyware programs running.... Now the prob.... Can fire it up fine....plays fine....can close it and continue posting drivel in the forums fine.....can launch any other proggy fine... Prob is on shutdown it hangs at the "Windows is shutting down" screen and I have to power off...... 10 min scandisk later all is well again.... I have tried it as the first thing I've run and the prob is the same so it's deffo teh minger... Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm sure you're in gates's back pocket......trying to make me upgrade to XP.... I shall resist.......I shall resist.......I shall resist....... Cannot get the bloody thing to run at all.... In windows it does not play the .mng and in commandline it freezes the box..... Had to reboot and scandisk 6 times now.....(Make that 7) Me thinks it's my box..... Oh yea and I downloaded .net 1.1 again just in case but no joy... 98se here.... Revenge for all those Sharon and Tracy jokes I spose *Edit* Box has locked up another 3 times, when I launch it in windows the player appears I go to load a .mng then nothing.... Then when I try to open explorer or any other program the box locks... GF luvs ya...whilst waiting for re-boot scandisk etc 10 times....so far I've emptied the Barbeque and cleaned it.....cleaned the grill indoors......had a shave.....washed my hair...got stuff ready for me cooking round her mums this arvo.....Tidied up the Kitchen and made the bed.... You sure she has not spoken to you.....??

Just thought I'd pop overhere and ask a question.... If you can pull your head outta CT's arse that is.... Never played with these mingers before....well the files anyway... Is there a player that can be used in a cab say running Mamewah (Cheeky I Know) ?? Launched as a seperate proggy that can configed to random and has a programmable esc key...or basically an .ini file with paths and options etc Or could you incorporate it in yours..... Just thinking in a cab it might be nice when finished playing just hit a button and get a random mng playing full screen then step onto the next mng etc...sorta like an attract with diff games..... I know jack shit about programming or Mngs and I don't know if such a proggy exists...But I just thought it might be nice..... Anyway just thinking out load..... No shit about the CT's d/l.....4.98 gig!!!!!.....Thank christ for Broadband...Well NTL really....
