It's (sort of) working here for me. Games load but my directional controls are dead. Strange becuase my 1p, 2p, Coin 1, coin2 and "button1" are working just fine. But games are loading for me on 5.24. What is the Daphne error log saying?

Tom, now that Visual Mame is launching great, can you do anything about exiting? "The Quit?" dialog box appears briefly when escape is pressed. The visual pinball CAD screen shows for a brienf moment also.

Your desktop shifted? What version of GameEx are you upgrading from? I have been upgrading my mame32 and GameEx with no graphic issues since 5.11. Are you talking about all you desktop icons and such? BR

Hi Tom, Version 5.23 is working great so far. Is it possible to change the time GameEx hides the desktop with that new display setting? Visual Pinmame now just needs a hair longer to be hidden before its finished loading a table. Thanks for all the recent updates! Oh for some reason I thought you were here in the US BR

I was having the hardest time trying to configure some new buttons using mame32s through GameEx. When I would press enter and tap a new key I would always also get an O or a K in the field. Is gameEx constantly sending an OK key press to bypass the disclaimers? This is not a huge problem as I can configure games straight through mame. Where I was thinking this could be a problem is my HotRod SE encoder does not like many more key presses then I already assault it with. Can this be the cause to the occasional joystick gets "stuck" in one direction for a couple seconds at a time problem?

Same here. I still only get the LCD dispalay, I'm using 5.22.

Well I got the tables to load ok now. I just changed: Command=VPinball-XPFix5.exe â??play-"D:\Pinball\roms\[ROMFILE]" To this: Command=D:\Pinball\VPinball-XPFix5.exe -play -"[ROMFILE]" Now onward to new problems! Pinmame 1. If I choose display desktop, I get all the ugly loading screens and such, but the tables load perfect. If I choose not to display desktop, only the pinball LED graphic shows up, not the table, is this normal? 2. Is it possible to change position of the virtual LED displays? Zinc 1. Still having issues with Tekken 1 and 2. Controls donâ??t work for just these two games for some reason, any ideas? Daphne Iâ??ve mapped all my controls through the Daphne loader. The insert coin, 1/2p start and sword buttons work but none of the directional doâ?¦. This is really strange. GameEx general 1. The Ambient sounds do not return after exiting Pinmame or Daphne. Hi everyone, Ok this is really stupid but I canâ??t seem to figure it out. How do I change the Home menu from displaying the text â??Playstationâ? to something like â??3D Gamesâ? when Zinc is enabled? I tried changing everything in advanced config menu that said â??playstationâ? to â??3D Gamesâ?, but the home menu still displays â??playstationâ?. Iâ??m trying to get my cabinet as far away from anything console related as possible. My other question is about visual pinball. As far as I can tell I have everything setup correctly but when I select a table from GameEx, my XP desktop shows briefly , cursor changes to busy icon, screen goes black for a second and then returns to GameEx. I started out with direct input off, and then I turned it on. The same effect is occurring. When I press down on my joystick, it scrolls much faster then before. I did do a full un-install, installed the newest version again, same thing. In regards to question 2, was that a dumb question? Thanks for the help. BR

Hi, I have a couple questions. I just upgraded to 4.89 from version 4.07 1. Iâ??m using a hotrod SE and the "down" seems much more sensitive when scrolling through a game list. In 4.07 I had no problem, now I always way overshoot - especially when holing the button and â??tappingâ? down. Itâ??s almost like it pages down twice. Can this be adjusted? 2. Using Mame32 99u4, that disclaimer always pops up now. Does this in effect make the random game screensaver obsolete? No games will automatically start because that disclaimer keeps popping up. Thanks for any suggestions, GameEx is without a doubt the best front-end ever. BR
