    Just barely snuck into 2nd place with this one: 31,400 v 0.122 dip switches adjusted accordingly. ( Not that it matters on this game. For some reason, no matter what the score is set at to earn your free man, it will award you the free man at 20,000. Weird.)

    Geez, sorry about that Dazzle!! I was unaware that you are the new HS Mod. I certainly did not mean to snub you, there. While I have your attention, I would like to remind you that you and your partner in crime are doing an awesome job around here. It is great that you guys are right on top of updating the scores and keeping the content fresh!

    IMHO, I think Donkey Kong the original is the best one of the trilogy. But JR is still pretty decent. Too bad my score isn`t. I will probably be revisiting this one. 25,900 v 0.122 Dip switch settings used ------------------------------------>>> Wow. What a day of gaming!!!!

    I sure do have a hard time with this one. It is very frustrating. I should stay away from this one and just be happy to be on the board so I can keep my sanity in tact. 59,100 Default dip switch settings used V0.122

    I find that if you kill your enemies with either a lightning bolt or a bubble with water in it, you can cash in on some big points. That is one thing that is really neat about Bubble Bobble.     OMG, I have spent hours and hours on R Type back in the day!! What a sweet side scroller. But let`s not talk up it`s difficulty too much here. There aren`t that many bullets coming at you AND you have pod that attaches to the front or back of your ship that deflects some of the projectiles for you. To keep decent control of your ship, I only pick up one speed item. I find the ship maneuvers too quickly when you pick up two or more. 219,300 v 0.122 Dip switch settings used ----------------------------------->>>

    Man, this sure is a fun one! I could play this one for hours! I remember coming across this at a Macs Milk in Grand Bend, Ontario years ago!! I made it to the Taj Mahal. Hehe. 478,490 Default dip switch settings in place. V 0.122 ps. I apologize Han and G.C. for the onslaught of score submissions. I had a HUUGE game session today and am excited to get on the board with all of these games.

    I was happy to see that we insisted on setting the dip switches on Galaga to HARDEST. The easy setting isn`t all that challenging. In fact, when I got to about the 12th board, I no longer tried to have a double ship, I just went solo. It is just too bloody hard when your target is that wide. 152,220 V0.122 Dip switch settings used ---------->>

    This is a really fun title. I am not surprised to see that there were 5 more sequels made. Cartoonish feel, awesome gameplay, tons of fun and yes, this game was ahead of it`s time. I read here that there are some 50k bonuses to be had somewhere on the bridge, and you get a bonus for keeping the tank to the end of the board. When I revisit this one, I will have to watch for that. 151,770 Default settings in place. Mame v 0.122

    This game is hard enough on medium difficulty, it is even tougher on HARD! My first submission: 89,300 Dip switch settings as per post 1 Mame v 0.122

    Ahh. Donkey Kong. Sometimes this game can really get the best out of you, especially those darn random elements you must face throughout the game! This submission is nowhere near my personal best (171,300) but at least I hit 6 digits. 109,800

    It looks like Team USA is going to be awfully tough to beat! What a combined score they got in the prior round!

    Most definitely! I have an X arcade panel. I got the 'Tankstick',which houses two 8 way happ competition joysticks, 8 buttons per stick, a trackball and a few more odds and ends buttons. It is ideal for me because of all the traveling I do. Some people think I am out of my mind for bringing it in my checked luggage bag when travelling, but I just cannot resist. ;-) It just fits, too!!
