With the new gameex evolution is there a chance to have instant Sheller able to hide and change all win 7 programs I think i have it to shell to gameex but won't let choose option to change boot screen , thanks

instead of using several emulators for each console cant I just download mess and run Atari.jaguar,nes,snes,coleco,intellivision,n64, and sega consoles or are there certain games mess cant run on those emulators and other emulators are needed, thanks

I can get the log uploaded(edited previous post) but the last couple times ive tried to upload the gameex.ini its just says saving post forever and never loads

could someone look at my log and point me in a direction please ive been trying this for weeks at different settings and reinstalls of all files and programs, ive seen these in other posts but cant get it all video, directx etc. have been updated but i am probaly overlooking or misinterpreting something, thanks sorry had to usb to my laptop I couldnt upload files from game

how do I mute or turn off the windows startup sound, just mute windows volume or will that turn off game sounds in gameex too, thanks

hi i reinstalled game ex yesterday because of issues and set it up in my c:/front ends/ game ex folder and started it and graphics looked better and worked great. i rebooted and noticed that it started straight to my old theme and graphics looked worse and saw that there is a game ex folder in c:game ex that i did not create can i just delete that game ex folder, and will it boot to the one i reinstalled in the front end folder? thanks

hi i have most of my files zipped individually but for my NES and SNES its just one rar file and have tried 7zip to extract here in the proper folder and then update game list in game ex, then i select one of the nes emulators in the menu screen and dont see any games, is there a way to make the rar file to indivually zip each game in the folder. thanks

ill try the original mame to see if same results, thanks for the heads up. they don't make mameui for xp 32 anymore all are older than version 151, could try it with the 127 version I have set up.

disabled plug ins and working better but sometimes loading game screen goes black. heres the log and config, thanks

i think it is my player 1 ultrastik, i have had problems with them and andy from ultimarc is sending me new boards, it all of the sudden stops working and i have to reconnect it. in the plug ins i think that and 1 other thing are checked. have to check that when i get home but i think i had them unplugged when this log was ran and i used the ps/2 keyboard and usb mouse. also looking at the log what is going on with validating emulators and the cache, is just just normal start up? will double check plug ins though and make sure a setting didnt change on me

could someone take a look at my files I went back to mame.127 and game ex loads but will freeze and not come back for some reason so I cant check games to see if they work, although I did update games list in game ex after I went back, here are the config and log thanks cant seem to get the config from excel to spoiler don't remember how hopefully this will do for now

I think i'll go back I know I had killer instinct and mortal kombat in that version in arcade but not sure which emulator could you tell from my first post of game logs by chance

yes i am and in the process of downloading software to audit this or should i re download 127, is there any huge advantage to 151 for the headache of auditing and searching, regardless my previous emulation settings are gone and all have to be re downloaded and configured so i thought i would download all emutors, get working and audi,t then replace so i can start fresh up to date. if i should revert back and just use updated gameex thats fine, i was just hoping to expose game list and technology to today and not 5 years ago, probably a bad idea but nothing i do makes sense or is easy

yes i had all of them setup before i updated mame and gameex and emulators didnt transfer maybe because my 9. something version was to old. so i have the files but for mame 127 and now on 151, and it doesnt even show up in my updated list anymore. but is there a reason i cant get any of the arcade emulators to work in game ex. they all say no files found, other mame and consoles set up fine.i know i put the newer arcade versions in the mame folder so they show up in arcade like before but they wont run with that emulation. ill mess a little more when i get home

do u happen to know which emulators to download to game ex for killer instinct and mortal kombat for arcade? i have the consoles but cant get any arcade ones to download. do i have to do something before game ex will recognize them in their folders? i thought the emultor was ultra64 but dont remember that on arcade list, if not can i download an emulator from somewhere else and put it in game ex or am i locked into the ones in the set up wizard? thanks. i seemed to have resolved most issues in logs on previous post from yesterday as i changed to 16 bit and somehow changed rotate setting -90 but is changed, theme and screensaver are fine so far but i know i need to update direct x tonight as i updated nvidia already. if u look and seen any other prolems i missed in the logs please make a suggestion

okay I am setting up custom emulators and have about 7 arcade emulator versions as well as other system duplicates whats best way to group these all my roms are just in a general arcade file together. also I was trying to finalize setup wizard and seem to remember direct draw or d3d what is that replaced with, thanks also seem to be having troubles with the themes some like tron and soul caliber choose which folder to install in but never do and seem to have trouble keeping it sometimes it comes up with a default how do I configure buttons in game ex menu I cant exit or do volume or go back

getting closer I just lost all my emulator paths but how do I get it to boot in full screen mode and without the donate page every time

installed but wont come up anymore says encountered errors I think it changed all mame names to mame32 something that's not what I have so ill have to change everything I guess

will I have to make separate folder or use existing game ex folder and will I have to re enter all data, if so I better make a backup

how do I do that if my updater app in the game ex folder doesn't do anything

in game ex advanced settings-run on launch it reads c:set49mode\set49mode.exe [rom] and on next line-run on exit it reads c:\gpwiz49\gpwizs.exe1 what is this and what does it do because I have ultra stiks and was going to delete the files are there other options for these or leave them blank, thanks
