As the author of the poll at BYOAC and the first to vote for GameEx, I was a little surprised to see a few regulars here posting there and posting back to back. I had a hunch someone over here had started a new thread. Too funny!

Sire, what script are you using? I've not had luck getting a good script for the Wiimote to control the mouse. I get some movement/button pushes but that's about it.

I would reseat the cpu after putting new thermal paste on there and see if that fixes the problem.

Today is indeed a special day. To be honest, this rumor has been discussed extensively in the States but only in certain circles. One thing that was confirmed that all registered users will become shareholders of Google. I realize that you can't say anything, but I heard that from a friend at a firm who works in Mergers and Acquisitions. I know we get 100 shares of Google. Can you say how quickly we will get them? I'm going to Vegas with my free money!

I just want to point out that I wasn't trying to be an ass in the other thread. I had read in multiple threads over multiple forums about certain perceptions of certain programs. I have my own thoughts as to what should be or not be allowed regarding Mame but I generally try and be respectful of Mamedev as domost people who use their program. I simply wanted to make sure that everyone had a chance to read their position so an informed decision could be reached. I sent Brian a PM and said that I think he made a prudent decision but it may not have been the best/right decision for everyone. I do think that this is the best forum on the internet. Everyone is extremely friendly, more than gracious with time and answers, and an amazing resource for us.

I question the need to potentially antagonize the group that makes this hobby possible. As Tom mentioned in another thread, GameEx is now the number one googled FE. I wouldn't want Mamedev to associate GameEx with something that they aren't in favor of (for right or for wrong).

Ooops, I missed that. His posts are always informative even if some go way over my head.

I believe he stopped updating it because of how Mame implemented multiple mice. There may have been more to it than that, but I know that was a factor.

I'd suggest posting this at BYOAC in the Software forum. The author of Mame Analog+ is U_rebel_scum and he is very active answering questions over there. He is absolutely the best resource for source changes to Mame and is extremely patient while he helps people. No offense to HK or anyone else, but it seems logical to me that the author of the derivative program could help you out quite easily. Good luck!

Didn't see those but will search again. I do have on the "Damn good thing this isn't costing real quarters" setting. Seriously, I do last longer at sex than at Dragon's Lair!

On my setup, it's pretty random. Pac-Man has a setting of about 90 seconds, Tempest is about 60 seconds, Tron is about 3 minutes....
