    pSX 1.8!

Right On! Thanks Adultery! -Matt Edit: Just because I think its cool:
  2. To be honest, those aren't mine. I'm not sure anymore who made those or where I got them. I am currently in the process of converting as many of the ones you supplied into a vectorized format for easy scaling and really hi-res images. File sizes are pretty big as quality is more important to me than the space they take up. Here is one example: Sega Master System 2.ai. (Although now I look at it again, this one is going to be redone) I have actual "work" work to do today, but I'll try to get as many as converted as possible over the weekend if anyone else would be interested in having them. -Matt
  3. Amos, you rule! I actually have the NES and SNES images as illustrator files, so you can do anything you'd like to them. Here's a link: NES/SNES Images. I'll probably only leave this on the server for a day or two just because of bandwidth-paranoia. If you need anything else, let me know! -Matt
  4. mmmm... Massive. Thanks!
  5. Amos, I too would really like to find those icons in hi-res. I have a bit of time now and would really like to start making themes again. Any info would be much appreciated. -Matt
  6. DITTOxINFINITI+1 Thanks Tom. -Matt
  7. Rad! I'm already a couple revisions behind. Can't wait to play! Thanks Tom. -Matt
  8. OK, I love GameExtender. Any plans for the customization of the displayed info? Maybe cart shots for the nes emulator, box shots for GBA games, maybe a CP shot for the MAME games etc? Or maybe a quicker refresh and having it scroll through the shots: fullscreen title shot, then fullscreen screenshot, then fullscreen etc? -Matt

    GameExtender

This weekend i'm gonna throw a monitor on top as well. My plan is eventually to imbed a 5" LCD in the marquee. I'm so excited! Yes, please post some pics and I'll put some of mine up first part of next week. -Matt
  10. Woohoo! -Matt
  11. I haven't looked, but I'm guessing it is off in the default config. Just as a guide sort of. Glad it worked for you. -Matt
  12. I haven't used Tom's instant sheller... But possibly try (in windows) using the run command (in the start menu) to run "control /userpasswords2" and turnig off the "Users Must Enter Password" thingy. I think that might work for you. If this is an option covered by Instant Sheller, just ignore me. -Matt
  13. I use ultraVNC on my arcade machine and GameEx has been crashing. I thought it was just me and was going to format and start over. Maybe I'll try to play with it a bit first. I can't wait to get home and try out the Extender. Thank you sooo much Tom! -Matt
  14. Yup, Jedah is right, debug is on. In the Config under that emulator, turn Debug off. All gone! Welcome to the forum Mattpist. -Matt
  15. Possibly, try: In windows, open the display properties tab. (From the desktop, right click, go down to properties and a menu will pop up) In the settings tab, check to see if your TV is the primary monitor. If not, switch it. I was having problems a while ago with fullscreen video popping up on the wrong monitor, and that fixed my issues. Just a suggestion. Hope it helps. -Matt
  16. There are a bunch of these logos in a few places on the net such as Vector Library etc. I have all (Available) of them and wouldn't mind saving them as .png's if I could get some ideas on size etc. The same issues as with skinning pop up though: Any that have edges differing from the background will have a dark black line around them. If maybe we had some input as to having them all "squared" off (a plain white background for instance) this could be avoided. Any ideas? I can zip 'em and send the "raw" stuff I have if anyone is interested in playing with them. -Matt
  17. Wow. I don't normally get upset, but Movieman please lose the attitude. Quite a number of us have working SNES roms/emulators within GameEx. The first place I would check is the Config thread to find a solution. Infrared was nice enough to post one for you. In the future, please: 1) Ask nicely and clearly what your issue is. 2) Explain your problem and what you've tried in attempt to fix it. 3) Wait for others to post before copping attitude. We have lives outside of GameEx, but we'll certainly try to help if we can/have the time. That's what this forum is for, helping each other out. Patience. -Matt

    MESS

I think the only way to do this right now is to enable flat menus; so that each emulator shows up on the main menu. -Matt
  20. I would also like to see some graphic-related improvements. I'm having issues with the way the logos (On the left side of the screen) are rendered; unless square, a black border shows around them. I'm sure this is something that is part of the display environment, and not a fault of GameEx's. And although I do understand there are technical issues, it'd be nice to have full alpha-transparency png's and such. I'd like more, but I really think that we have yet to fully explore the options that we do have available. Also, wasn't there talk of a theme forum? -Matt

    Video player bugs

It used to be a problem that the video that appeared twice in the listed had an ".mpeg" extension rather than an ".mpg." I can't remember if it got resolved in GameEx or not; I just changed the extensions. Check out the vid and let us know. -Matt
  22. Woo-Hoo!!! *hugs* -Matt
  23. That is pretty cool! Nice find! -Matt
  24. Hell yes!!! I originally had plans for a second screen in my machine. I wanted to create a flash app that would cycle through and display controls, snaps etc based on the game being played. If this could be integrated into GameEx... wow! -Matt
  25. Welcome to the forum! 1) If I understand it correctly, GameEx uses the same resources as Windows Media Player. ( I could be very wrong) If you can view your videos in WMP, you can in GameEx as well. It may be as simple as finding the right codec. What do you use to view the files now? I'd just google for the codecs and see if you can get it running in WMP. 2) The Daphne and Mame screens don't have any user defined paths that you can change, so don't feel bad that you didn't find any. The way to change them is exactly as you have: alter the graphics in the media folder. What I would suggest is creating your own theme file. Basically, just copy/rename one of the existing themes. Maybe change "Default - Default" into "Default - sty151." Then alter the graphics in the new theme. That way GameEx won't overwrite any of your changes. I hope this helps. And, again, welcome to the forum! -Matt
