Would anyone know of any exisiting little guides to getting DWJukebox plumbed into PinballX & on the backglass screen???

Mmm so... I guess there is nothing for it but to try, I will attempt to get the Start button lit tonight!

Ahh have solved my own problem. If I replace the default pinball wizard tune with a 2 second silent wav or mp3 of my own, upon start up PinballX will load that wav & then when I go to use the machine & browse tables their own sounds will play :-)

Is this right? I take a molex cable, I wire the yellow to the live on the light control, I then connect ground to the black molex? That will give me permanent power on of the LED though, so where do I go to get the light to activate when required, ie Start? I have a ipac or led wiz so can use either?

Ahh more sleep, what a nice phrase!! Re the sound, what I mean is we come out to our man caves / dens / places women are not allowed & switch on our pinball cabs. What I'd like is for PinballX to autoload with windows but play no music of whatever table is on the screen. Its not until you are in front of the cab & you switch to the next table does any table sound play??

Nother update, PinballX loaded from a fresh boot, full screen,played the theme of the last table that had been loaded & then minimised at the end of the theme. The pxlaunch.bat window taking focus on a win desktop?

I can put PCs together, but I have hunted & searched but at this point I don't even know what basic wiring I am supposed to be doing to get something light the start button to light up??? I'm advertising locally as well as forums for help on this but nothing so far which is a shame as I can't move forward.

Update on this Tom. I'm finding that sometimes PinballX will start pefectly on win 7 starting, sometimes it will start & minimise, I guess win is loading other stuff still, is there a way to delay it starting a bit longer? Also is it possible for PinballX to start this way but without playing the music of whatever table was last loaded, but only on startup start, not on regular use, if you follow??

My cab is at the point where I want to start installing the ledwiz, lights, contactors etc. But I'm scared... Electronics are really not my thing,el time & if left to my own devices I will blow motherboards, ipacs, ledwizz etc!!! Is there anyone around Sussex, near Brighton who'd be happy to come over & spend a few hours helping me to get a fews leds & contactors installed, ie get me started? £100 + travel costs??

When I play a game that has no DMD, my DMD monitor instead of displaying the pinballx dmd takes what pinballx used as the backglass image & then distorts it across the DMD monitor. If the game has no backglass either then this image spreads across the backglass & DMD monitors. I tried hide DMD & backglass in game manager but it made no difference. Is it poss for games with no DMD / Backglass to keep the screen display shown in pinballx when the game loads?

Nother reboot & all seems fine, however PinballX says Main Display 5 Backglass 2 DMD 3 Windows says Main Display 3 Backglass 1 DMD 2 Strange.

I think my issue is monitors & resolutions, pinballx settings is picking up 5 displays, I have three & has them all numbered differently than what win 7 has under screen resolution? Is there a way to get pinballx to refresh my monitor count? I'm twiddling & tweaking but everytime I reboot screens change position in pinballx??

Quick reply Erm, I copy your above text to a new text file. I rename it something.bat & drop it in the Pinballx folder?

I'm having issues with the DMD displaying in PinballX. If I run a table from VP, the DMD loads exactly where my table script tells it to load. If I run the same table from PinballX the DMD position is around 3 - 5 pixels to the right putting the DMD slightly off screen? The sizes within pinballx settings are the same as the tables?? Also, since yesterday I have lost the pinballx DMD displaying the PinballX logo that ran whenever games didn't have a DMD to display? I'd appreciate any help with the above??

Running Win 7, I have added Pinball.exe to the Start Up folder & told it to run full screen. However upon load it runs full screen then minimizes itself?

Agreed, universal switch off of backglass & dmd :-)
