  1. Solved it, so if anyone else should come across the same problem. I had previously set up a couple of batch files to clear the Leds upon start & exit. Stopping PinballX from running these got rid of my error message. So simple in the end...
  2. I meant a total un-install & re-install of PinballX, just need to back up my game manager settings.
  3. Upgraded to the latest version but no change, same error message. I guess a total un-install of PinballX is called for followed by a rapid re-install. What should I back up so I don't have to re-do all my set up again?
  4. Sorry should have provided that at the start. The problem started when I installed the Direct Output Framework for Ledwiz.   5. Bumping this with an update. I'm still getting the error message ""MS Console Based Script Host has stopped working"" It happens when I start a game & when I end a game. Clicking OK on the message box gets rid of it & the game plays fine, any ideas anyone?

  7. Thanks Virriguy. I did already download the backglass server but I'll try that link, maybe, hopefully I downloaded an older one. I've found the DOF .exe confusing as you have global config, table config, cabinet config etc. Should this all be filled in by the software automatically or am I meant to do something with these?
  8. I know this forum is for PinballX but it's worth a try... Until recently I had a happy working cab that supported one ledwiz drive. I managed to blow this drive so ordered 2 new ones from groovygame gear. The two new ones are both labelled Dev 2. I cannot for the life of me to get the ledwiz to work with tables in VP. So far I have it working under the lum aura control, under the DOF test config panel & it also works in ledblinky. I have tried this using the Legacy output & the Direct Output Framework. Have configured my ledcontrol.ini via the [site reference removed] config tool. I've created different table folders, one for legacy & one for DOF. i've un-installed VP & re-installed. I don't know what to do, I've emailed groovygame for support & posted loads of various forums but zilcho! Can anyone teamviewer to my PC (or similar) & see what I'm doing wrong. If you can help please PM me & we can arrange a price & a time asap to do it? Thanks
  9. Wonder if anyone can help with this error message I am getting when I exit a game under VP 9.16, also happens on VP 9.15. "MS Console Based Script Host has stopped working" Seems to happen on all tables that use ledwiz, tables that don't are fine. Likely to be my fault as I have just added a new ledwiz device as I blew my old one & at this point I cannot get it to work but worth a post here in case anyone else has seen this error message? Oh, using the latest version of PinballX that I downloaded yesterday.

The game was already listed in my ledcontrol.ini fathom,on,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 I tried as is, no good so I changed to fathoma,L88,W18 Blink,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0 fathoma, being the name of my Rom & L88, W18 Blink taken from Cactus Canyon line which does work? Still didn't work though?

    DW Jukebox

    On my first load it scanned all ok, but then when I had added more music it kept crashing, I was up to around 18GB. I deleted music files until it was down to 3GB & it loads fine??? Guess it can't store too many files? Now to try & figure out Q. How to get it to load from PinballX? Q. Can I run it minimized? Q. How does one control it without a keyboard? All of these questions & more will be answered on another more relevant forum, I hope :-)
  14. Strange, the bat fle you attached earlier completly doesn't do anything. its in my start up folder but nothing starts up, the bat file looks like this. c:cd c:\pinballxsleepsleeppinballx pxlaunch.bat I have in my c:/pinballx/ folder as a shortcut Any ideas?
  15. Ahh, talking out loud now. I was trying to open ledwiz.xml in excel which just gave me a load of numbers. Now I have it open in notepad I can see their are editable things...
