Along the same lines as my last post, the other thing that would be nice is if there was an option to have the jukebox play in conjuction with other emulators. So it wouldn't pause during, say Pinmame, it would continue to play through with the sound from the game either on or off. Don't know the technical involvement, so forgive me if that is suggesting too much. Heck, the damn program is pretty darn sweet as-is.
  2. I've tried the AutoIT file, because with the newest version of GameEx, it hangs the "Quit to Editor" option on Pinmame open, along with the table. After playing several tables, this poses a problem. When I replace the vpauto.exe file with what you recommended, it allowed me to press the button for "Quit to Editor", but then would go to my desktop with GameEx running on my taskbar. I've tried a lot of different setting and get the same thing. The AutoIT file also hangs on pause in my start taskbar, so if I run several different tables I will have the same number of vpauto.exe running in my startmenu. I am throroughly confused.

Just a suggestion...Is it possible, when you have your settings so it pauses the GameEx playlist and plays MAME (or another emulator), that when you exit the game it continues with the song that was playing previous to the game selection? That may not be possible, or feasible (I am by no means a programmer), but it seems like it would give the whole experience more continuity. Not a big deal, just a suggestion. I am continually amazed at what you have done with this so far!
  4. I actually figured out how to disable the multimedia functions last night, so I probably will keep the full version in case I ever want those features. I am not concerned with speed, but wanted a little cleaner look since I almost exlusively use this for gaming. Thanks for your help.
  5. Thanks. I really like this program and am looking forward to its continued development. Sorry for the duplicate replies...
  6. oops...
  7. Do I have to uninstall my version of GameEX first, before installing the new version? I am looking forward to the "lite" GameEX as I will use it in my Cab. Does the "lite" version remove the jukebox capabilities or just the DVD, Photo and Movies options? I really like having the jukebox play while GameEX is running. Keep up the great work! p.s. I thought I posted something similar to this a short while ago, but I can't find it. I apologize for the potential double posting...
  8. Do I need to uninstall my version of GameEx before installing this new version? Looking forward to checking out the "lite" feature as I will probably only use this for my cab. Thanks so much for your hard work!
  9. Thank you very much. I got it figured out, I just moved PinMAME to my C: directory and it worked fine. Maybe I had it in too many subfolders, I don't know. Thanks again, though, for taking the time to help me.
  10. I really like GameEX, but seem to be having problems getting other emulators to run. I have checked the posts on PinMAME, because I seem to be having the same problems as everyone else, but can't seem to get it to run. I was messing around with another front end called Maximus Arcade and I thought they had a neat feature that might make all this easier. In order to set up an emulator, all you have to do is locate the execute and then the front end will pull all the folders to the right spots. It appears that you encourage full customization, and I really like that (and love this front end), but maybe that feature would make it a little easier for us hacks to get started on other emulators. Thanks for your hard work and time!!!
  11. I know you must be tired of this question, but I've been fighting this for about 2 hours now. I have everything set up the same way you do, but everytime I click on a table, it takes me back to my desktop. I can see vpauto.exe in my taskbar and I can't re-run GameEX until I go back into configuration. The only difference I can see is the you guys are using XPFix5.exe. I am not sure what that is. I am using VPinball.exe. I am sorry I keep bringing up what should be a dead horse, I just don't seem to be getting it. Thanks for your patience and help.
