Still sounds like a codec issue. When you play videos outside of pinballx they don't use same ones as pinballx uses. Do a full uninstall, reboot and install from link on pinballx.org page with defUlt settings and should work just fine

my guess is you have it setup for esc(exit) which kills backglass. change esc key to "x" in VP and pinballx

I have been trying to get a couple people to tackle it but they are just to busy lately. A multi player version of mame is around so I would think it would be fairly easy to add to vpinmame.

After that amount you must add manually. Sucks but is way it is until tom extends the game manager list. Really not a big deal but is like going backwards after using the nice front end to add tables

I played with a couple wheel images and converted for dmd..they are ok..at least it ties table to dmd..but would rather it be animated

I see 2 differences with yours as the are orange on my DMD also.. yours are color .mp4's and the others are B/W and in .avi format..hmmm i think all they need is to be converted to B/W

Yeah the timeout /t 5 solved my issue just odd it just started to need more time but i think your right, more time is just needed to initialize. Are you working on a dmd video pak 3

This should work... Create a .bat file add this timeout /t 5 start "" c:\pinballx\pinballx.exe save as pbxstart.bat put this in startup folder and should work! you may need to increase the 5 seconds or try less if it works at 5sec. Also interesting note... if you add the bat file to startup folder make sure you uncheck setting in pinball to load automatically. i'm sure you know that but you may forget

ok getting some strange behavior of dmd on shop cab. I imaged cab from home and used this to image shop cab and dmd animations will not work unless I start a table and then quit back to pinball then it plays dmd movies but very sluggish to update dmd. Tom any ideas? Small update: wont play pinball video on "imaged" cab unless I quit out of pinball and re load. then it works fine maybe adding a delay will fix issue I will try that and report back update again: added a timeout to bat file and does work fine now. STRANGE!!! see below on new line I added timeout command increase the 5 for longer or may work with just 1 sec for you but this does fix the problem. So weird timeout /t 5 start "" c:\pinballx\pinballx.exe
