it works all my fx2 tables have backglass

This WAS the issue for me and white water..though i had to delete the whole subscript as i could not get 11 or 12 to work. thanks zeenon. strange that build 628 works fine with no script changes…. my head hurts!!!

Leaning towards pinball x as issue... A few future pinball tables will load up with backglass showing, playfield blank but working sounds just cannot see playfield. Works fine outside pinballx. I'm thinking this started happening with updated version(62 maybe)that was to decrease load times in pinballx.. Example of table with blank playfield is jaws

well I would agree its a vp issue as older 628 version works fine. but if I run tables from vp direct with newest build they also work fine just not in pinball... strange stuff

not that i recall. But i dont pay attention to it either. I know some people have been having strange issues with some newer night mod tables but think it was a region setting causing stutter? but most people have upped to daily builds due to new tables needing it. so far so good on my system since downgrading, so it has something to do with it no idea if its a pinballx issue or not?

i thought pinball x was causing my issues(and maybe it is some) but i am running latest daily build of VP and just been having nothing but issues running tables through front end! tried different versions of pinballx but nothing fixed it. THEN i tried downgrading VP to 628 and tables now work that wouldnt! So how many of you having these strange problems are running higher than 628?

could i download an old version from somewhere? like anything before 65?

I get your point but games disappearing off list I was not aware of. If you add games manually and open game list manager by mistake then I think that's when you loose the games off database not fitting in manager. But if I'm posting known issue that everyone but myself knows about I'll just leave it alone.

Well I found that I lost "most" games after "T" but not all. Added the missing ones back in manually to database and backed the sucker up and is holding now! even after reboots. Doing it manually(hyperpin style) really makes you appreciate the game manager. All good though thanks tom

added 20 plus more and randomly lost 20+ tables off list did show all 367 until a fresh reboot. I was adding tables manually (not game manager)and i understand its a crap load of tables but want every table on list anyone else run into this problem? and anyway to fix it?

whats the "limit" now? 340-ish? maybe have the game manager added feature to have table list numbered? I am close to 340 and really don't know what will happen if you go over? maybe nothing maybe loose a few?

agreed its not a huge problem at all. very random! usually happens when im showing a new person though! LOL but can go days without crashing then just happens. otherwise I have ZERO problems with front end! oh! the only other problem is my DMD is still blank! LMAO!!!

When I had first tried this I had wrong Rom then what was in XML. either rename Rom in xml to match version you downloaded or download same Rom that is in XML. many different versions of same game, just a thought...

your parameters for future are wrong.. also missing a space.. and your launching desktop after exit? WHY? also visual parameters...im surprised that works!! double "=" and...looks like future pinball parameters for visual pinball but at least it has missing space!

Tom, the Arguments [TABLEFILE] kicks out mame back to menu. if I leave Arguments blank I then have to choose mame rom and then works but not loading specific rom without proper argument. any ideas?
