  2. thanks! it's doing fine now. btw: you've created such a cool frontend, that i've registered my gameex now have there ever been so much updates than in the last days?
  3. ok: in the media center theme the select line 2 fades in and out while scrolling through the gamelist. in my own theme this line flies in from above. how can i change this?
  4. strangeways this appears in the new media center theme but not when in my own theme. how can i get this in my theme?
  5. i've got the same problem. i can change options, but the changes are only shown by starting the themeeditor new. and i cant change the textcolour, too. how are the colours defined in the theme.ini?

  8. hi headkaze, i've got this problem with all options. its a bit strange, because i remeber that this has worked when i used the theme editor a few weeks ago. yes, youre right. it doesnt open themes from the welcome screen. opening themes from the menu or the open-icon makes no trouble. this seemes to be a font-problem. i wanted to use a pixel font, but gameex makes it very big and bold. with a normal font like trebuchet ms or verdena it works. after all it would be nice to define fontsizes. so it could be possible to display the gamelist and the menu (genres, year, publisher â?¦) with the same size. at the moment the menu is shown bigger than the list. another nice feature would be a integrated separate vertical-layout, like i posted in the feature request board. but i can understand when you an tom hated me for this request
  9. i found out, that the theme editor accepted the changes, but he doesnt show them in the options-window. is this a generel bug or am i the only one with this problem. another problem is that he often cant read an opened theme in the first step while opening it in the second try. now i've got another question: is it possible to set a fontsize? the sizes in the theme editor has nothing to so with the sizes in gemmex, even if i choose font size "normal". and can i stop gameex to display a font in bold?
  10. i cant change the options of a theme. when i choose "edit/options" and mark or unmark something the theme editor doesnt change anything. the next time i choose "options" my changes are undone . the theme.ini is not writeprotected.
  11. here you can get t-molding: http://www.t-molding.com and here a lot off arcadeparts: http://www.arcadeshop.de for your cab
  12. i've got a minipac and i have some problems with the ipac-software. hm, i think i have to solve these problems, bacause i dont find an escape-key in the gemmex-setup custum keyboard input ?!?
  13. i tested it as icon for mame (the symbols for mame, emulators, other programs and so on ) and gameex plays the mpg yes, my theme resolution is 640x480. is there any other v2-theme with animated backgrounds, so that i could build up on that? and i have a new question: some themes, like the »bubble bobble«-theme has animation-effects in the background. how can i do this and what are the possibilities of these effects?
  14. sorry for bumping this up. i’m only a bit impatiently at the moment, because i've got a cab now. so i'll be quiet now and wait to the things coming
  15. is it possible to define an escape-key? im using gameex in a cab with a special escape-key because i dont want to press player1+player2, but in the caonfig-wizard i cant define the escape function.
  16. they are mpeg2-files in 640x480 pixels. when i use them as icon they make no problems. must they have a special name?
  17. i've done it like it's shown in your tutorial, but it still doesnt work in the theme editor i've defined videos for the main menu and mame. when i start gameex i see only the normal background and when i select "mame/all mame games" gameex crushes with the following error: 22:54:54.2 29.01.2007: Error in the application. 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at Microsoft.DirectX.DirectDraw.Surface.DrawInternal(tagRECT* destRectangle, Surface sourceSurface, tagRECT* srcRectangle, DrawFlags flags, DrawEffects& bltEffects) 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at Microsoft.DirectX.DirectDraw.Surface.Draw(Rectangle destRectangle, Surface sourceSurface, Rectangle srcRectangle, DrawFlags flags) 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at GameEx.GameEx.mainform.DrawBackground() 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at GameEx.GameEx.mainform.FlipSurfacesMainLoop() 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at GameEx.GameEx.mainform.DisplayFrame() 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: Last Exception: 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: Error in the application. 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at Microsoft.DirectX.DirectDraw.Surface.DrawInternal(tagRECT* destRectangle, Surface sourceSurface, tagRECT* srcRectangle, DrawFlags flags, DrawEffects& bltEffects) 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at Microsoft.DirectX.DirectDraw.Surface.Draw(Rectangle destRectangle, Surface sourceSurface, Rectangle srcRectangle, DrawFlags flags) 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at GameEx.GameEx.mainform.DrawBackground() 22:54:54.3 29.01.2007: at GameEx.GameEx.mainform.DisplayFrame() btw: i'll stay a while at your nice site
  18. would it be possible that gameex rotate the screen after a game with a different oriantation has been played? this would be very usefull for users with a rotatable monitor and ive seen this feature in an other frontend. edit: sorry, i want to post this in the feature requests where i've posted it now.
  19. i dont know how to stop the loop. i just want to know how to do this. wow can i enable a video as background? and what can i do with the videos in "edit/video"? i've got an error in gameex when i chooser there a video and i cant see it in the theme editor.

    M1 config?

hmm, did nobody know how i can tell gameex to show the m1-dos-window?
  22. nexus6

    M1 config?

i want to insert M1 to the emulatorlist. you can hear the musictracks of a lot mame-games with this emulator. unfortinatelly i cant see the M1-doswindow when arcadeex has started M1 (ive set show desktop to "yes"). so i can only hear the first track of a game bacause i cant type in the commands like "next track" and so on. is there a possibility to show the doswindow of M1?
  23. is it possible to show the series-information in gameex, like in mame32? i think the best way would be a button like the cabinet-/title-/flyer-buttons.
