yes the newer builds of Nvidia drivers are bad for alot of g-force Fx owners one of my friends with a p4 2.8 and a G-force FX card had GameEX running with those newer drivers and it feelt like he had a p2 400 mhz it ran jerky and some games did run really bad as well then we tryed a older Nvidia build and now he runs Game-Ex perfectly so im using the 66.93 build that works best for me at least

i noticed with the growing interest in GameEx i think it mby could get some steam of Tom with a handfull MODS persons there could manage the board alittle to get some steam of Tom and help that way it seems to me with all those updates it could help alot and i noticed more and more topic are left out alittle my suggestion would mby to let mods go alittle beyond that and mby should be in contact with Tom so that way he can use more time on other things as private life and so on ... so let there be 2 kinda MODS one for helping others with problems (there can be solved without any coding) and one there mby helps Tom with coding/managing suggestions/bugs and so on .. its just a advice its hard doing all those things alone ....

yes i belive that as well becouse those are written in danish in my game-ex becouse i have a danish windows Xp/media player installationand andlooks really confusing/wrong and the rest are english i game-ex

i use the jukebox quite alot atm. more than any other features but its really annyoing when you goto the "Select Playlist" section there comes ALOT of stuff like " pictures,videos" and even all the "music there are played most/new music numbers" all those things it would be really great if there was a way to remove all those things so only my playlists appeared and afcouse the "Shuffle/clear playlists" only i have made quite a few playlists but they kinda fade away in the mess of useless options or mby move all those options to another section called "music options" or something so you have your playlists alone in the playlist section

that isnt a issue with Game-Ex but vpinball ... let me get you right is it VPinMAME Tables or plain vpinball tables ?? well if its VPinMAME tables then you can press the "end" key to open the coinbox then press 8 and 9 to adjust the volume others tables you can do it just with the 8-9 keys ...

im using WMP version 10.00.00.3646 WMP worked as a charm before i did that wonder if i upgraded to Game-Ex to 4.71 i will look the .ini through Edit : well it was correct nothing there was wrong in it but i loaded the GameExConfig.exe and changed nothing just pressed "save" and runned Game-Ex and the jukebox was back

just the "libary" song-list in media player and now the Jukebox are gone im Game-Ex the radio tho works fine...

hmmm my "jukebox" disapered as well the only thing i did was remove in media-player the libary files for making a new play list .. after that the "jukebox" option are gone in Game-Ex

if i run the emulator "gens" http://gens.consolemul.com leave it open and then run Game-Ex then it does precise the same there dunno why dosent matter in my case becouse i dont have both open at the same time anyway but it looks like yours screenshot idd so i think you have something running there does the same as "gens" does... EDIT : after alittle futher test it looks like its only in "window mode" not in fullscreen it does it here EDIT 2: i have a g-force the FX serie

anyone up for a game of yatzy i guess my logo are away of the style if you compare the other build in logoes in Game-Ex there kinda are transparent where mine isnt anyway it was a fast made one .. But making chars look good in Game-Ex are alittle hard (not at all impossible) but becouse its way of using the Back color and make a black edge around stuff and at the moment im still working to add the rest of emulators logoes and make a default "emuBAK" background picture for my theme ... anyway you can use it or see if "layer" can edit his alittle well or wait to im done with my project

one small thing there comes to my mind its nothing big but when you run Game-Ex in window mode and minimise/maximise Game-Ex it dosent remember the window postions and goes back to top left corner the funny thing are in window mode if you close Game-Ex down and run it again it do remember its possition just not when you minimise it ... again nothing big just something there crossed my mind

run GameExConfig.exe and look under "display settings" the first one there called Theme there you can change your themes just remember to copy all your new themes in the "themes" folder .. OR find the line in the "GameEx.ini" saying : # Current Theme Theme=Default - Default and change it...

Sure here it is : but to be honest to biggest thing are all the logoes or each emulator what i think are worth it even if you dont like the theme itself you can always use the logoes for another theme

ok i have tested both "vpauto" from Tom and djrobx and djrobx`s "vpauto" works so far best you can move the Display led without it is closing down and it does remove itself from the taskbar after you exit a Table ... with the new version i noticed in the control+alt+del MENU Game-Ex was only using 10 mb ram in V4.66 where the old versions was taking over 100 mb ram seems there have been major improvments there

ok i have tried 40+ differents tables and there was infact some problems with some of them "Getaway - High Speed II (Williams) (1992) (Colosusmania) (4.0)" one of them there closed Visual Pinball down but itself .... i tryed the new "vpauto" and it fixed that table but now i have to test all the tables over again grrr nah great work Tom edit : now the "vpauto" stays in the taskbar is that right !?? edit2 : if you move the led display it close down to

i will give it a harder test soon but with the new "vpauto" so far i havent encounted any problems but i agree the setup can be alittle tricky but worth it IMO

if you should be alittle like me there would give Game-Ex the complete emulator feeling then i would suggest take alittle look on this site : http://remix.kwed.org/ there you can grap alot of c64/amiga tunes in mp3 format most of them are pepped up and sounds really cool a must have for the JukeBox section IMO

well i didnt know adding true transperancy what PNG already does support was hard i just paint i dont code so if that are a hard thing to do i wouldnt ask for it as i thought it was an easy thing to do but i guess nothing today are easy what i meant was the effect do make a black line around the edges and you cant make blur effects on the edges either and again its not a big deal i just thought it was relative easy to do thats all
