Wow. Nice work Krak I love all of the themes so far !! ....one small thing about the Neo Geo Theme: the banner and the background of the game selection screen both have the text Neo Geo. That looks a bit crowded I think. Maybe you could use KRC's banner (see previous post) as the cab's marquee ? Just an idea...

Thanks for updating the scores Han. Due to changes at work I do not have a lot of spare time ;( Be77amy has confirmed the score resets if you DO use a continue. So no problem here. I trust everyone to not use a continue (or extra credit) at any of our games It's a friendly competition after all Game on !!

Nice score be77amy. Beats my second spot Entering your initials > see in the lower left side of the screen. When you're game over "continue ?" is counting from 10 til 0. You've to wait till the counter reaches 0. After that you can enter your initials. Updated OP, DB, RSS, LB

Wow, a lot of errors and warnings when I check the event viewer. I think the fastest solution is to do a clean install of windows and everything I do not have much time the next couple of weeks. I think I will do a clean install the last week of this year. Thanks for your help so far !!

@ Tom > thank you for testing my gameex.ini ! I've tested my internet connectivity and there seem to be no issues. I always have a connection. I've again tried to run GameEx > I've waited a little longer for the news feed to download. GameEx then responds for about 10 seconds. When I select another menu-item GameEx again freezes. After a while GameEx responds again and when I select an item it freezes again. The news feed at the bottom of my screen each time runs for a few seconds and then it freezes and GameEx doesn't respond. [i've attached my log / ini with RSS/news feeds enabled] It looks like it has to do something with the RSS feeds. HOWEVER, when I run GameEx with RSS / news feeds disabled I run into the same problems. Very strange...[see log / ini with news feeds disabled] I've tried your suggestion and ran the above command line. With no succes unfortunately Any other ideas ? I searched for and deleted all files with cache in the name > started GameEx > same problems as before I also tried reinstalling GameEx again after having deleted the files with cache in the name. I've downloaded the latest build from gameex.com and installed it in my already present gameex folder. It didn't solve anything unfortunately. I'm facing the same problems as before (see latest attached log / gameex.ini) I hope there's another solution... log.txt GameEx.ini

Sorry. I misunderstood you Draco... Can I just install the downloaded GameEx build in the same directory where I've GameEx already installed without any consequenses ?

Nice score !! Puts you in the no #1 spot of this GOTM edition I totally agree. I've played a lot of amazing graphical games like GTA, Call of Duty, Need for Speed etc...But none of these games are able to capture the pure fun of just playing a game, trying to improve your personal best hi-score and compete with others. These "old" games have something which today's games lack: pure fun and always fun to play no matter how many times you've played the game This is exactly the reason I've tried and - with help from others - succeeded setting up this hi-score competition.
