We introduce February's GOTM.........Out Run !! The player controls a car, a Ferrari Testarossa. The road curves and dips, which, combined with the low perspective, increases the challenge by making it difficult to see what is on the other side of a hill. The player must race to the end of each stage as fast as possible against a time limit while avoiding traffic ! Good luck and have fun ~ HS Team

Beating 100K at Donkey Kong is really not that bad ! I took me ages to beat 100K ...damn 3rd elevator stage. ...Fortunately I'm now able to beat that stage My first submission for the Yolympics...my new personal best at Donkey Kong Game: Donkey Kong points: 157,700 initials: DEN I've also submitted this score to our Hi-score Competition. Hey guys, My Gamecard is unfortunately not showing the last game I have played. On my GameEx Online account 1944 is the last game I've played (link). My Gamecard is still showing Gyruss. I followed Dazzle's instructions at this post. I also ruled out a possible problem with Google Chrome after reading Draco's thread > link . We run a friendly and casual competition but Han is right about the snapshot + initials being one of our primary rules. I trust you hi-score 100% and you really seem to be a cool guy and enthusiastic hi-score member and we're all glad you've joined our competition Perhaps we were a bit more indulgent in the past but due too stuff happening in the past we unfortunately can no longer accept hi-score submissions without initials. Of course you were already aware...just in case: posting a snap of your score at this thread is optional - submitting your score using the contest form is mandatory.

@MO: please refer to post #1 - paragraph 4 You can use their form to submit a score. I'll do both btw...use their form and post a snap at this thread. This at least offers some proof of the score you've submitted and enables you to keep track of hi-score submissions of GameEx members. I hope this helps

There are (currently) 52 hi-score games. The user (TiF) you're referring to has posted 28 hi-scores of which 12 are #1 spots. Perhaps 3 of these games (Juno First, Robotron and Gyruss) are REALLY BIG scores compared to our #2 and #3 hi-score spots. Perhaps there are a few other games like Pang, Green Beret and Blazing Star which are also tough to beat but surely not impossible. So, it's not thàt bad. Removing hi-scores is also a slippery slope which I think we shouldn't go down. His hi-scores are pretty insane but he has even bigger (officialy verified) hi-scores on the games mentioned above. So, just removing scores because someone is perhaps too good or perhaps not very involved with our community is not something I'd like to do. Also, with our new Leaderboard point mechanics hi-score members are "forced" to play the majority - if not all - of our hi-score games to really have a shot at becoming 1st, 2nd or 3rd at our General Board. So, more games and more members playing the majority of our games will result in the less enthusiastic / less involved hi-score members having a hard time to climb our ladder or even drop down our Leaderboard Ladder. And that's how it should be....the enthusiastic and involved players are rewarded this way. Of course there are always low, medium and pro skilled players in our competition. Low and medium skilled players will perhaps never have a chance to compete with our top 3. Imho, playing in our competition is however about having fun playing classic arcade games, competing with players at your own level and trying to improve your personal best score at each game.
