Since everyone's releasin themes, i'd thought i'd jump on the bandwagon :)

Its called BlueGlass and is a V2 (1024x768)

Ive had this one for a couple of months, but never bothered to finish it until now, because im not overly keen on it, but its better to offer it up anyway.

Its an adapted version of Windows media player 11, here's the snaps:

There's icons and backgrounds for most emulators in the zip, also there's a photoshop file to allow people to make any extra backgrounds.

Download: Default - BlueGlass.zip (9.86 MB)

WOW! If this is not considered an instant classic, I don't understand anything!

This is a must have theme!

Man, Amos! The things you do with photoshop never cease to amaze me. :)

That nav bar is super slick! Awesome!

I gotta know though - how in the heck do you get the snaps to fill the whole box like that? Mine never fill the whole area I assign to it.

Yes how do you do that?

Im not sure to be honest,

gameex is pretty sensitive about the dimensions of the snap box, it was really just trial and error, sometimes the vertical snaps dont reach the bottom of the snap box, i just fiddled around with the width of the box until the vertical images reached the boundary.

The dimension for this box are: w=521 h=507 pixels. You could make a document in photoshop with these dimensions, and try scaling it down by a percentage, to match the size you need & see if it works

w=345 h=321

This size works too. I lifted the ratio from your Future Retro theme. :)

I wonder why GameEx is so anal about image size?

Maybe Tom tries to keep the aspect ratio of the video within the box area rather than stretching it to the exact dimensions of the bounding box? *shrugs*

Nice work as always amos. I reakon a nice mono coloured image with about 70% opacity in the bg would pimp it out a bit more, but I still love it.

I love how clean this theme looks. My favourite so far.

Is there any way to have the joystick buttons work to select "Home"? Additionally, any way to have "Exit" actually be "Sleep"?

Just out of curiousity, are you using Ultrastick 360's?

I went through your posts, and you made a post in the PluginUltraStick thread, so I'm thinking you are...

How do you have them hooked up?

Input, output, USB ?

I'm interested in seeing if somebody has them hooked up in the USB/output combination, and how it's working for them....

I have my buttons wired in to the U360's directly. They show up as joystick buttons 1-7 (I'm not using #8). Works pretty well, except sometimes joystick support isn't as good as keyboard support in some programs.

If you press select and back at the same time, it should go to the home screen.

This is great to know, thanks.

If you have your buttons connected to a joystick, you will be able to use XPadder to dynamically convert them to keyboard input. This works quite well with pretty much any emulator (except MAME with it's newer raw inputs).
