FWIW I couldn't find an easy way to convert bin/cue to cdi.
  2. When I use the "Exit" button in the theme I'm using, or the "Exit GameEx" option in the menus, I still see "GameEx.exe" running my processes once it has quit. This does not happen if I quit with ALT+F4. Is this an issue with a plugin not exiting perhaps? I have the LCD plugin and the Ultrastik plugin.
  3. It's working now Thank you very much!
  4. I don't have a gameex>plugins>ultrastick (or similar) folder, so I assume I have the paths right (all relates files in the plugin folder itself). I'll try messing around with it further today.
  5. I'm pretty sure I had it working at one point - I ran into the trackball-game-changes-joystick-buttons issue fixed with this revision (and a third party patch). UltraMap does see both, and I can write maps to the sticks with it. I have the latest firmware (the one that allows shift functionality) on both my sticks.
  6. The plugin does not seem to be affecting my UltraStiks in any way. I'm running XP, tried both 1.0 (the version which came with GameEx) and 1.3, and neither will change my UltraStiks, though I have a batch file for Geometry Wars which calls ultramap.exe manually, and that works fine. The plugin has a check in PluginManager.exe, and if I use UltraMap to set the sticks to 2 way, I never get anything else in MAME games. Is there some setting I need to change to point it to my UltraStiks? Or a log file I can read?
  7. I managed to the MAME keys lighting up, but I'm still having issues with the plugin configuration program. I'll load it up, hit the Profile Editor tab, click Dreamcast, click Ikaruga, make some changes (changing Always Active to False for a few buttons), click Save, click Exit, then go back in and my changes were never saved. In some cases I've reverted to editing ini files, but this is far from desirable Edit: This time it worked? Maybe it's related to me remote desktopping it (seems to save changes OK) vs editing via the machine itself. Regardless, can anyone explain the difference between "State" and "Always active"?

    BlueGlass Theme

I have my buttons wired in to the U360's directly. They show up as joystick buttons 1-7 (I'm not using #8). Works pretty well, except sometimes joystick support isn't as good as keyboard support in some programs. This is great to know, thanks.

I love how clean this theme looks. My favourite so far. Is there any way to have the joystick buttons work to select "Home"? Additionally, any way to have "Exit" actually be "Sleep"?
  10. Wow, this is absolutely awesome. Thanks so much for your work.
  11. I now see all my MAME games when I select "MAME" on the plugin event configuration page, but I still have no change. Just whatever I set up my GameEx controls to be.
  12. You can now search, as well, if you're registered.
  13. Wow, this plugin is awesome. Took a little thinking to figure it out (I should have just read this thread) but it's very easy past the initial learning stage. Unfortunately, I seem to be getting no lights for MAME games. I set up profiles for my other emulators, so they work fine, but nothing for MAME. Do I need special ini files anywhere? Edit: Actually, when in MAME I just get whatever lights I've set up for the "GameEx" profile. Edit: Oh, and since the latest version of GameEx (released yesterday) I seem to get the "Welcome to GameEx" speech when I start gameex, even though I've turned that off (even if I change the text it doesn't help.)
  14. To actually implement this, you'd need to go DEEP into MAME's code, on a per-game basis. I have little knowledge of this but I would guess it'd be very difficult.
  15. Wow, that works perfectly. Thank you so much. You guys are all a great help. A++!
