Theme editor totally lost

Hi, I paid for Gameex and am looking to swap my current mamewah config to gameex

One of the must haves for me in my cab is the ability to have the menu layout as in my video (around 1min 11 s)

Is this possible with the theme editor ? (I'd had a poke around with the editor but can't see a way to add avi's or more than 2 types of image)

Welcome dosmame to the forum! Actually, the Theme Editor is just that - it edits the layouts of the theme elements. One thing you may be interested to know is that if you have a mamewah layout that you like and prefer, you can import it into Theme Editor as the basis of your GameEx theme. What appears in the 2 image fields varies depending upon the snaps you have. If you have GameEx configured to play background videos and your snap paths set for video snaps and normal snaps (via the Setup Wizard or Advanced Configuration apps)., generally, the AVIs will appear in Image 2, if no AVI present for the ROM, then normal snap will appear. Image 1 initially defaults to a Logo file, but, depending on further options selected withi GameEx while it is running, you may see 3d Cabs, marquees, snaps or vids.

From what I saw of your setup I think that you can get pretty much the same layout and eye candy. It is going to take some peeking and poking about to get it just right and we are here to help!

great, thanks, at least I know it's do-able.....now to try import my mamewah layout ;-)
